Western Business College This is a Corinthian College Network so-called College, and I attended there in Vancouver, WA, since they have changed their name to Everest College. They lied about externship, in which they place me where they did not hire Medical Assistants, I had no help or recruiting for job placement assistance, They misled me about, classes,credits, loans, Vancouver, Washington

 I attended Western Business College From 04/01 to 02/03.  I was a great student who worked very hard toward a Medical Assistant A.A.S degree.  I relocated to Vancouver in hopes this would be my new career path and spent two years of my life and 20,000.00 in debt for a piece of paper that in not even worth the paper its written on.  To start out I will first talk about how I was misled about the classes they offered, I was looking to become a medical assistant with an X-ray certification, they informed me they had these classes available, in which they did not have x-ray.  Not until I was two quarters from graduating they came up with some rinky dink x-ray class, because of students complaining there was none.  This class did not certify me to do this in any way shape or form in the workplace and they misconstrued this to many students.  I have spent time, effort, and am over 20,000.00 in debt to Sallie Mae for loans I could never pay, because of this rip-off college.  I was misled about my externship to find out that they did not hire MA's, Only registered radiologic technoligists, and they knew this all along.  My degree is worthless because of the bad name they have, therefore employers wont take a second look at me, because of this.  My over 20,000.00 of degree is non-transferable and no good at other colleges.  I recently am trying to start over going to college again and they laughed at me about Western Business College and denied my class credit for a nursing program, in which I would have had to take all those classes over again including all prerequisite classes that I already work so hard to get through.  I never got any help from Steve Maxwell, He was the so-called job placement assistance specialist, that sat at his desk every day and did nothing, but lie to me, about how he was trying to help me.  This school was rude to me when I acquired about why I was not getting any help from him, and even the school president told me there was nothing I was going to do about it, because their school corporation was to big and I would lost if I tried to file a suit against them.  I am not the only student who has had issues with the Corinthian College Network, and I probably wont be the last.  I have read articles about some student in California who have file a suit against this Corinthian and that the State Attorney General was helping these victims if big business.  I have wrote my Attorney General and never recieved a reply, of course most of these Washington State officials have no backbone for the people who pay their salary either, there just as bad as the school, when it comes to helping citizens.  If I bought a car and it did not work I would take it back and get my money back, especially if the dealership lies about something that was not right on the car.  People who steal are supposed to go to jail, then I ask, if there is so many people comlplaining about Corinthian, why is it that the student who lost there money, time, degree, future, are not compensated.  All I wanted was to work hard for a degree to get ahead in life and have some education to build on, but I got nothing in return for my hard work, money , and time, but ripped off, and have no one to help me in this matter.  I have lost all faith in our society, when a person who tries to get ahead still gets the shaft.

If there is anyone who could help people and other fellow students like me, it would be a God send and greatly appreciated more than you know.

I would welcome the opportuninty to speak with someone who has the intelligence and the means to help me get my money and self respect back.
