Sounds like your wife fell for the "trial offer" of some skin care or makeup product. When you (anyone) sign up for the trial offer, the company puts the buyer on a monthly subscription that is much higher than the trial offer price. She has to cancel the subscription which is not easy. The FTC sued 29 companies that use this deceptive marketing tactic. But it seems there are more companies following this business model today than ever before. She may need to even contact the bank and change her debit card number in addition to cancelling the monthly subscription. Good luck.
