I recently came across a work from home company. I emailed them to get more information on what they were about. I received the following email.

You have the opportunity to become one of our remote employees. Your duties will include receiving and processing parcels and letters sent to your address, as well as sending them to our customers. You will also need to print prepaid labels, process invoices, and take photos of the contents. We work with the courier services USPS, DHL, UPS, and Fedex. Parcels will be delivered to your home address, so you will need to be at home during business hours, which are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will work using your online account at our companys website. There, you will find the list of incoming shipments, your current work tasks, and also the relevant prepaid shipping labels for sending letters and parcels. Due to the fact that the entire process is fully automated and the shipping labels are prepaid, you will not have to pay for anything on your own or fill out any forms and documents. For working with us, you will need a printer and a simple digital camera. It is also desirable that you have a car for delivering parcels to the relevant postal service providers. If you are disciplined, can work independently, and maintain consistent contact with your manager by phone and email; this is a good fit for you.

Your salary will be $36,000 per year, to be paid on a monthly basis. Since this is a home based position, it gives you an opportunity to save your time and have more flexible schedule with less stress and anxiety, but it is not a part-time position and you will not be able to combine this work with any other full-time job.

You can feel secure during the work process. For security purposes all our customers go through a careful verification process. The parcels usually contain electronics, clothing, auto parts and sporting goods. During the work you will be able to inspect the majority of parcels yourself. We also work only with fully paid shipments. We do not even initiate operations with any customers if we are not sure about their factual sphere of business or the purposes for which they are using our services. We clarify this during a phone interview. We work with our clients only after they send us two types of ID and 1583 form certified by the notary.

After this I did send them the application but I never thought they would actually offer me a job the next day without contacting me 1st.

On their 2nd email to me welcoming me to the company they wanted me to resend the app and employment agreement along with a W4 and 2 forms of ID for my I9 paperwork. That's where I got sceptical and I replied asking the recruiter to please have someone contact me over the phone. When I didn't receive the call I started to do a little research on the company. I actually drove out to the address on their website and there was no actual company with this name. It was several warehouses on theis lot but none with the physical address given on the site. I then noticed 2 women's name on the paperwork and I decided to google them. Neither woman was affiliated to WS Postal. Of course after all this information and trying to call them and no one answering I knew it was a fraudulent company. Please if this company contacts you delete the email and don't waste your time responding.
