My mother wired me $2500.00 for next day delivery through Western Union. I called 2 locations that told me they didn't have enough money to pay out $2500 so I called Western Union to find out what kind of joke this was that I spent $130 to wire money and noone has enough money to pay out. I could not understand a word the guy was saying as 100% of their reps speak english as a second language. I asked if there was someone who spoke englisg as a first language and was hung up on. When I called back I was advised that they are denying me service and will send my mother a check back in 10 days! The scum bag obviously was offended by my asking for an english speaking rep so he decided to take it out against me by marking my transaction a fraud.

This is how Western Union operates and it's a shame that they are allowed to get away with this kind of behavior, especially considering they are handling peoples money.

Matthew is a troubled individual with disturbingly obsessive psychopathic behavior.

Matthew has spent every day for the past 12 months obsessing about a purchase he made on Amazon almost a full year ago. Matthew bought a marijuana concentrate pen from us on Amazon in May of 2013, and tried to return it all oiled up after months of use for buyers remorse claiming it didn't work. When Amazon rejected his claim he began stalking us, threatning us (cryptic arson and death threats, and quickly turning into an obscure obsession spending every day creating fake user profiles and fake negative reviews, almost all of which included a fabricated story of criminal activity to try and deflect his actions. Apparantely he's America's brightest law student quickly establishing himself as a textbook

Now that Yelp has banned him and his hundreds of fake profiles, and Amazon has caught him creating fake orders for the sole purpose of leaving multiple untruthful negative feedbacks about this one "disgruntled" purchase. he's resorting to any resource he can online (ie here) to fulfill what has clearly become the prime focus and obsession of his life.

Matthew's obsessive criminal activity also included a letter he sent us through yelp messages threatening to burn down our store (thankfully we're online), calling us "F******", and saying he'd like to laugh while we lay in a pool of our own blood. (SEE NUMEROUS ATTACHED PICTURE PROOF OF THIS CRIMINAL HARD AT WORK EVERY SINGLE DAY DOING THIS)

I can't decide if it's more pathetic or more psychopathic, that an adult would spend every day for 12 months actively trying to retaliate against merchant who denied a $25 return 12 months prior.

Reading these rebuttals.. Clearly these people have never had to resolve a problem with Western Union. As  a person who is in the middle of trying to resolve as issue, I can state for a fact; that these employees do not care, do not know how to resolve any important issue and repeat the same memorized information.

Half of the problem is that all the employees I have spoken to have heavy accents. I have trouble understanding them & they have trouble understanding me. They will take your money, but good luck getting it back. Western Union should not be able to take money, then deny allowing the recipent to receive it with out a valid explaination. This has been my situation, to date, I have sent money 3 times & the recipent has been denied money. NO reasonable explanation, NO help from customer service to resolve this! I am paying this company to send money for me, they should DO their JOB! Not hold my money for a undetermined period of time. This company earns Rudeness & shouldn't be in business.

Yes I see you're from springfield missouri. In the south you may get away with something like that at a mom and pop convenient store.

Come to find out western union is primarily used by delinquentes criminals and illegals which is why they have no customer service.

Being personally offended by a customer is absolutely a valid reason for not doing buisness with them. I routinely threw people out of my store when I managed a convienence store for just that reason. If you had been respectful toward westurn union, you would have your money. Since you decided to by a big baby and be insulting towards the phone reps, you got what you deserve.

FYI: English is my first and only language.

Being personally offended doesn't permit or justify a rep to cancel a Western Union transaction. I'd love to see a business run by you.

They did not mark it as fraud, they just decided they didn't want an a*****e like you as a customer. If your attitude in your post is anything like how you were on the phone, I wouldn't want you as a customer either. They decided they did not want you as a customer and decided not to do buisness with you. Every buisness has the right to refuse service to rude customers.

- I would bet they hear that a dozen times an hour.  The reason they probably did that was your original comment when you started by asking what kind of "joke" this was since you spent $130 to wire the money and no one(actually it was only two locations) didn't have enough cash.  Apparently attitude is everything and they didn't like yours.
