IN DECEMBER OF 2006 I WAS IN A MAJOR MVA IN PHOENIX AZ WHERE MY TRUCK WAS COMPLETELTY TOTALED AND MY INSURANCE COMPANY PAID WESTLAKE A SUM OF $3670.00 FOR THE LOSS OF THE TRUCK NOT KNOWING THAT THEY HAD GIVEN MY INSURANCE COMPANY 10 DAYS TO RECIEVE THE CHECK AND IF THEY DID NOT RECIVE IT WITH IN THE AMOUNT TIME THEY WOULD BE CHARGED???? BUT NOT KNOWING I WAS CHARGED THE BALANCE OWING OF $708.00 AND THE PUT IT ON MY CREDIT REPORT AS I CALLED AND SPOKE WITH ONE OF THERE REPS NAMED ANDRES HE TOLD ME I UNDERSTAND IM ON YOUR SIDE BUT UNFORTUNIATELY SINCE YOU WHERE THE RESPOSABLE PARTY YOU HAVE TO PAY THE OUTSTANDING BALANCE FOR YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY?? REALLY I WANT THIS OFF OF MY CREDIT ASAP AND I WILL GO TO THE EXTREAM TO MAKE SUR IT'S NOT DONE TO ANYONE ELSE THESES POEPLE ARE A JOKE!!

As such the insurance company paid the part of the debt that they legally owed. You are responsable for the rest. Just because you didnt know, doesnt make it that you dont have to pay. Just pay it and get it off yourself. They will not remove it. You can fight all you like but they will win. You had a legal obligation to pay off the remaining balance.
