I have a loan with Westlake Financial. It was the company referred to my husband and I when we bought our truck. The truck that was sold to me is a lemon. I've haven't even had it 18 months and the motor is already blown. I was going to roll over the loan into another loan so I have a vehicle to drive to get to work. The new dealership who was going to roll over the loan said this company won't allow a rollover until payments have been made for 18 months. I called Westlake to verify this and they are saying that they do not even allow rollover at all. I called and Explained my situation and they didnt even care. They said sorry you were lied to and basically tried to get me off the phone. Its ridiculous that I was given a lemon and a 10k loan and now I have no vehicle to drive and $7k to still pay. I have children that I need to get to school and they dont Care.

I'm not surprised! First off, YOU are NOT the lien holder! Westlake is! If you were to go to a different dealership and try to make a deal on another car, they would pay off the Westlake loan in full. The amount they pay them will be part of s new loan. Westlake is then out of the picture...unless...your new loan is placed with them. I have never, ever heard of ANY lender who will not take a payoff!
