Westmed dba McCormick ambulance sent me a bill for $1380 to drive me from Calabasas to West Hills Hospital. I had an allergic reaction to fish. There was no life support or treatments administered on the way there. I thought it was awfully expensive and should have been around $600. A woman in charge of billing department has no idea what she is doing. I think she was hired for her position due to her nasty way of talking to people to try to intimidate customers and collect. She refused to work with my New York state insurance and tried to convince me to "sell half of my liver" to pay for their services.
