I have Audi A4 (98) I called a week before to the repair shop asked them if they worked on that year and tyoe of car. The owner (Bill) I taked to said they have many times. I took it in Wed. 3-02-05 said they can find the problem I had told them about. My husband went after work and asked if it was ready.

Bill had said might be the belt and that should be the problem. Thursday came around my Husband went to check if it was done at 5:oo pm again. Now another problem the wiring or the water pump told Bill the owner if can't find problem please say so. Said that the thermostate had to be the problem.

So Friday at 5;00 pm came around still was not done and asked if looked at the thermostate Bill said NO it was the 1000.00 dollar estimate for the water pump but wasn't sure it was the problem .

I made my husband tell the owner (Bill) to stop working on the car and if he wasn't sure what he was doing then I Don't want a him touching my car. after 600.00 dollars in repairs I had to still two my car home. I had never experienced a mechanic that never looked or hooked the car computer to see the problem. I think If I kept my car there he would wanted to do more unecessary repairs.

This Same old Tired Slangerfest

AUTHOR: Judy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, August 01, 2008

Three years later....

Will you people please stop running this same old tired rant from Nancy. She is a nut job. Her husband did not know about this "complaint" , and was quite shocked when he came in with his car for more repairs to find out she had done this!

If any of the above were true, why would he bring it in yet again for more work?

This rip off service appears to be a sensationalism site that irresponsibly posts the same old tired stuff from years past, over and over, which never had any merit in the FIRST PLACE.

I think Rip off is trying to sell mediation services. They clearly are not trying to serve the greater good or they would check on the truth or fiction involved in some of these "complaints"

Can any crack pot just post anything irresponsibly about a company and have it published on rip off?

We have never had any complaints about our services in 35 years, outside of this nutty woman!

Westwerk has been in business in the same location for a very long time with many many fine reports posted all over the internet. There seems to be very little we can do about this fraudulent ill written mess, written by a woman with problems and her husbands apologies hardly help, as rip off keep posting this over and over.

March 2007 Rebuttal to the above complaint

AUTHOR: Judy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, March 16, 2007

To whom it may concern....

An old complaint (over two years old) has been re-posted by you this month against Westwerk. Porsche-Audi by this couple:

Nancy and Tony

They came in last week March 2007, asking us to work on their car. Our secretary recognized them, went for the owner and he refused service politely, explaining that we did not appreciate their bogus, and at very best, mislead set of facts, posted on your rip off report as to the service they received on May of 2005.

If they were so dissatisfied? Why are they back again?
They got the work done and wanted it done for free?
Did they think we would fall for their scam artists tactics twice?

We did NOT accept their car for repairs for all the above reasons. They are retaliating by re-posting an old complaint. It is irresponsible of ripoffreport.com to do this, and vindicate of them to repost this.

If Ripeoff.com was a legitimate complaint format, they would not have done this!

Rebutttal to the Nancy Shipley Report

AUTHOR: Judy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 10, 2005

To whom it may concern:

According to invoice #10769 dated 3/04/05, the following necessary repairs were completed on the Audi in question, a 1998 AudiA4: a coolent expansion tank was replaced, as it was cracked and was partly the cause for over heating, the temperature switch for the gage was also replaced, because it was inaccurate, the serpentine drive belt was replaced as per the customers request, and the auxilary fan switch was replaced, as it was not functioning.

All repairs were necessary and okied by the customer as indicated by a signiture on the repair order.

Mr. Shipley was advised, and not Nancy who they have never seen, that this would not totally correct the problem, as in addition to these repairs, the following should be done: Replacement of a thermostat and water pump, and timing belt, which drives the water pump, as the timing belt had over over 78,000.00 miles on it.

They did not elect to complete the repairs, and no fraud was perpetuated, nor any misinformation delivered. The customer simply stated that he could not afford to make the repairs, and that he would bring the car back later.

If people cannot affort the automobiles they drive, this does not make those repairing them "rip off " artists.

Read the letter outlining the complaint. I think it's fraudulent and misguided nature speaks for itself.

If you would like any more information about this complain, Please contact Bill Wurschum at 12223 Woodruff Ave Downey CA 90241. Westwerk has been in this same location for 27 years, and has hundreds of customers that would not go anywhere else. It has no negative filings with any business bureaus or the Bureau of Automotive Repair.

Incorrect and slanderous information posted by Nancy

I am the webmaster for Westwerk Auto. The company owner attempted a rebuttal, but could not get his email address accepted..So much for a chance to air the facts.

The real rip off artists are those perpetuating sites that only gives one side of a dispute for sensationalism.
