We took our truck to the company mentioned and bought a car stereo.  They installed the stereo for free.  We noticed that evening that the stereo did not turn off when we turned the truck off.  This was ok, since our old stereo would stay on if the truck was off, until the doors were opened, or until about 5 minutes had passed.  However, when we opened the truck doors, the stereo still stayed on.  The stereo always stayed on.

We took the truck back to get them to repair their installation, and the owner/manager told us the installer was out of town, and to come back some other day, and he would install some speakers (that we had bought at Best Buy) for free.

In the meantime, my husband took the truck to Best Buy to see if they could fix the installation.  Best Buy found that the mentioned company had used Duct Tape to connect the stereo wires, and had used the incorrect adapter for the new stereo, and had wired the stereo to a wire that always stays on.

They estimated $150.00 just for the cost of the correct bracket with the correct connection wires on it.

When I contacted the owner of the mentioned store, he told me the stereo was like that before he put the new one in (that it would stay on all the time), and that $150 was too much to fix it.  He said Best Buy doesn't know what they're doing, and told me again that he would install our speakers for free, and that would make everything better.

I really do not want that store to touch our truck anymore, considering the use of duct tape and the lack of knowledge of his installation employee.
