whatabuger General manager direspect durant, Oklahoma

I was an employee at Whataburger until 7/31/2012. I helped open their new store in Durant,OK. The new general manager Pete is the most disrespectful manager ever..He choose to pick on me from the day he took over that store.

I came into work that morning at 6am.we were already having problems with the other shifts not competing their end of shift duties.So when I seen my department was not set up like we were training ed to do I went go Pete. He gave me excuses after excuses as why it was that way.Then I was given I draw for drive thur that was not counted infront of me which i qoute is policy.I went o ce again to Pete about this and he said that no it doesnt have to be counted in front of me at all. No that is policy we were trained that way as well. Well has i am trying to stock and set my department up and do my job plus 3 other areas of the store a 3rd shift employee is talking trash.I once again go to Pete about this problem and he says well you were talking trash too. So with him not listening and showing favorites in the store,lieing to us employees,and not doing his job I left in the middle of my shift.I then return back to work the next day to be told I must talk to Pete first.

I call the store at 12 noon to set up a time to talk to him,thinking he'd be concerned about an employee, seeing how Whataburger is family! Well he tells me their is nothing to talk about I had quit and that was that.

Let me say I loved my job I loved the people I work with. Whataburger is an awesome company to work for,but this Gmail Pete is wrong.So What I'm doing is fighting all the people I work with that are being wrongfully done under this Gmail Pete.
