 I have been victimized by whetstone partners, they have a lein on my car, i was making regular payments to them thinking they were legit and when i told them i was reporting them and not paying for the debt cancellation fee they repoed my car, i dont want to give them any more money to get it back, i really need some serious help on getting my car back!!!

I know a few individuals that are in the same situation as you, I also stopped paying when I realized it was unlawful for them to force Debt cancellation insurance. We have filed a complaint with Florida Dept. of Financial regulation. I am awaiting a response, from what I have read on this company many are contacting the state on this issue. I hope it all works out.

All of this is done Online, as you do NOT have the option to visit any of their offices to view the documents in real time. Marlin added to my Title Loan of $3000.00, a hidden fee of $6000 for a product that doesn't even exist, called a Debt Cancellation Waiver, claiming it was $6000 in Coverage, when it was IN FACT, nothing more than an additional premium owed to Marlin. For borrowing $3000, I was now on the hook for repaying $10,963.20, regardless of how quickly the loan was paid off. Marlin has a very well established pattern of this specific behavior.
