Potential clients beware:

These folks only care about the big fish (clients spending $10k a month or more). I signed up for their TV ad campaign auction and shelled out just over $4000. I own a restaurant in a major city and six months after signing on with Wholesale Airtime Auction, they sent me bogus auction results which claimed there were over 1,000,000 viewers who viewed my ad. I conducted a very thorough survey with the help of my employees, which demonstrated that not a single customer came to my restaurant as a result of my ad campaign on TV. Even if the video was garbage (it wasn't), how is it possible that I didn't get a single customer with 1000000+ views on the ad?

Wholesale Airtime Auction was compassionate enough to craft a nice video for me and supposedly “air” it, but I hired a private investigator for this minor investigation (it cost me another $500) who would eventually inveterate that my ads never aired--not even once.

Wholesale airtime auction sent me this fabricated log report (please note that anyone can generate these fake airing reports easily using Microsoft excel). When they sent me one of these log reports with another client’s name accidently entered in the list, I instantly knew that something was wrong.

I did some research on these blokes and it appears they just don’t care about the lesser clients. They are really adept at covering their tracks and they know there’s a sucker like myself born every minute. Perhaps they rely heavily on their more lucrative ventures to compound the money needed to retain their own reputation. It’s time that someone steps up to the plate and notifies other potential unsuspecting customers.  I am here to be honest so I’ll admit that I have personally seen their other clients’ ads run on national TV, but those clients are all multimillion dollar mega-corporations.

Also note their business address is in Delaware as of late, where most of the phone scam companies lurk in the shadows these days. I hope that no one has to go through the anguish I’ve been through owing to these jerks. These con artists are crooks and they should be prosecuted and investigated to the fullest. Don’t say I didn’t caution you. You’ve been warned.

Letter of Reference from non-profit Client & Station Affidavits

AUTHOR: Sergii - Traffic Czar 3 - ()

POSTED: Monday, January 16, 2017

Hi. My name is Sergii and I am the Traffic Manager (Czar) for Wholesale Airtime Auction. As we indicated two years ago we were certain this posting was a fake. In addition to this we attempted to contact Rip Off Report about it several times so see if they could provide proof of what customer this was? We even offered to pay Rip Off Report to participate in their Arbitration Process, so we could clear our name about this matter. I have attached a copy of our most recent email to R.O.R. Unfortunately, even after emailing them twice, they never responded to either of our emails.

Since it appears nobody wants to help us, all I can do is provide a general copy of the type of station affidavits and "post logs" we provide to all customers. Please see the attachment.

You can also read a Letter of Reference from a non-profit client of ours, who was thanking us for helping them deal with a station who did not properly air all their commercials. We even spent $7-10K in legal fees to file a $2K lawsuit against the station, just so our client knew that we did not appreciate them being treated this way (and to send a message to other stations). You can also click the following link to see another Letter of Reference from a client who had a similar problem with a Seattle station: http://www.wholesaleairtimeauction.com/advertiser-reviews/

In closing, 99.5% of stations are good. However, we still monitor all clients inventory like a hawk. And we fight hard for all clients' commercials. Even if it costs us legal fees to do so, or if it permantely damages our relationship with a station. Please contact me directly if you have any questions about Traffic Procedures.

Request for Information from Rip-Off Report or Business

AUTHOR: WholesaleAirtimeAuction - ()

POSTED: Saturday, December 27, 2014

Hello,

Let us start by saying, we appreciate the fact that Rip-Off Report exists. It is an outlet to help consumers that might otherwise not be able to help themselves.  Unfortunately, like with most things in life, the "80-20 rule" comes into play.  And in this situation we believe we might have been targeted by the small % of people in this world that try to take advantage of others.

At this time it is difficult for us to respond to most of this users post, as based on the information posted it is not possible for the user listed to have been a client of ours.  It is not possible for the following reasons:  #1  The user purports to be a restaurant owner from northern Florida.  In the past 6 years we have not had a single restaurant client (or related business) in the entire state of Florida, or Georgia.  #2  We are strictly a  B2B business; meaning, we don't allow consumers to participate in our auctions; only legitimate, registered businesses.  They must sign a contract, and we must pre-verify they are in "good standing" in the State they are supposedly registered in (if we can't verify this, then we can't accept the auction order).  #3  While we understand it is sometimes necessary for consumers to be able to post things anonymously, it is not necessary for legitimate businesses.  #4  We are always here to help current and former clients.  Unfortunately, we cannot make people choose to call your telephone number or walk in your business (if it is a storefront); we don't sell revenue, we sell airtime.  However, we definitely can make sure the stations provide paper affidavit logs, or they refund your money if they can't provide proof of airing.  It is black and white: you receive your airtime, or stations refund the money.

We have reached out to Rip-Off Report to see if they can ascertain whether or not this was posted by business, or if this was just an attempt to financially damage, or extort money from Wholesale Airtime Auction.  "Financial damage" would most likely come from a competitor of ours.  "Extorting money" would come from the large amount of of unscrupulous "reputation management" businesses floating around the Internet. These businesses create financially damaging information about your company and post it on the Internet.  Once the information shows up on Google they (and others) contact you to try and sell you their services (meaning posting new, fake, positive client reviews in an effort to cover up the negative reviews).  If you refuse to buy their services they then secretly post many more damaging pieces, to extort payment out of the business (think of a Glass Repair business that drives around at night breaking windows, then contacts you the next day to replace your broken window). These companies are experts at "SEO optimization" and know how to get their posts to rank high with Google.  If you look at the URL and headline that was posted by the original user it is clear they know about advanced SEO techniques.  See how they used several variations of the company name, and several variations of the word "review," "testimonial," etc?  This insures when potential clients are trying to find reviews/comments about Wholesale Airtime Auction that no matter what variation of the company name they use it will come up in the Google search results: http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/Wholesale-Airtime-Auction/Dover-Delaware-19901/Wholesale-Airtime-Auction-wholesaleairtimeauctioncom-FEEDBACK-REVIEWS-TESTIMONIALS-Dover-1195473  This technique is called "Google Bombing" http://suescheff.com/googlebombbook/index.html

Per Rip-Off Reports explicit policies they state they will never take the original post down; even if it is proven in a court of law to have been proven to be a fraudulent/untrue report.  And since we currently have no legitimate client to respond to in this matter all we can end with is the following:  if we don't receive good-faith cooperation from the original poster or from Rip-Off Report, we will subpoena the user’s information.  If we are forced to incur the expense to do this the original poster won't simply be able to write a retraction, issue an apology, etc.  As previously established in a court of law, Google Bombing has consequences.
