Wholesale Internet Solutions Billed after cancellation Beaverton Oregon

I recieved a call from Wholesale Internet Solutions offering to advertise my business online. The verbal agreement that we made was for a NO contract, month to month agreement. I paid in advance and verbal confirmation by me for continuation of service was required before WIS could bill me for another month. No pay, no service.

 I never received any correspondance from this company. I never recieved a reciept for monies I did pay them. I never received a single phone call from the advertising they ALLEGEDLY provided. After I verbally cancelled service with this company I did not hear from them again. 4 months later I recieved an attempt to collect an unpaid debt, by a collection agency, to Wholesale Internet Solutions for $399.

I tried to contact someone at the WIS several times. No one has ever returned my calls. I did get through to customer service once and I demanded to speak with someone about this issue. I was put on hold for forty-five minutes and when someone finally got on the line, they immediately hung up on me.
