I was recommended to Dan Agency in Franklin by a local photographer. I met with Josh at the agency and was given a contract and told my daughter would have a web page setup after I paid the $150 fee.  Like an idiot, I paid.  *****I've later learned that no REPUTABLE agent will charge YOU to represent YOU.

After signing my daughter up with Josh at Dan Agency, I contacted him 4 weeks after that for work and was told that the economy is slow and there was nothing for children.  After another 4 weeks went by, I was told quite abruptly that work was slow with the economy and not to contact them they would contact us for work.  Little did I know that Josh was no longer employed.

After being approached by several other agencies to pick up my daughter and turning down work to keep from having to pay the lame agency that did NOTHING for us money I decided the $150 web fee wasn't worth it and wanted to wait to ensure the contract was over.  I left a message on the voicemail.

I didn't get a call back, instead I had to call the agency back.  The receptionist was warm and tried to assist.  When she had reached her limit of knowledge to answers to my questions, she went to get Stephanie Williams--owner and booking agent.

Stephanie was beyond rude.  She was downright indignant.  I was informed that Josh left in April and it was my fault that I didn't know how the agency worked and I was in violation for not checking back with them every 2-3 weeks.  They represent over 800 people and can't really be expected to call each one.  In other words, YOU ARE A NUMBER HERE AND THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY!!

I should have learned about the checking in at the Saturday orientation according to her, the orientation Josh didn't ever tell me about.  After I expressed to her that wasn't informed of this. She went on to say everyone should be happy and she would have glady cut ties with us even if the contract wasn't over. 

When I told her that based on her words, I understood her to say she didn't really care what we did and her agency wasn't responsible for my ignorance.  She said she was sorry, but then went on to insult me and say that I have problems with communication because that's not what she meant. 

One person makes a difference.  Don't EVER use them.  Take your kids somewhere else.
