Wilhelmina Scouting Network, WSN, TCTTalent ripoff, scam, fraud, swindlers, cheated employees, screwed the customers even more, waste of time New York New York

Well to add insult to injury I was a new scout for this company and I thank ripoff report because you prompted me to not continue wasting my time or money. I am a single mother of twins and in three weeks I have figured out babysitting and finances for my daily trips downtown without a penny to show for it. I soon realized that we wouldnt be getting paid.

As you all have read they conduct open calls for now, after you slave for hours on the street talking to people that for the most part arent intersted. In a way it feels like harrassment. The people that do come in do so with a look of hope on their face thinking that they might just make it, provided they have the $995 (because $1000 sounds like too much so they make it more appealing to the eye) plus the $19.95 monthly. If not they are kind enough to give you a "payment plan".

They offer a job where you make your own rules, which is why I decided to give it try. But instead you have a scout supervisor breathing down your neck every day of the week asking you your "numbers".

Training week you spend the first day in the office from 10am to 1030pm. and the rest of the days you scout and then show up for open call at 430pm to 1030pm. You're supposed to make your own goals but when you state them they tell you shoot for 5 more or 10 more. I was even told to use my kids while scouting children. I would talk to the parents and I would have my daughters talk to the kids!!! Now they claim to have merged with Model Search of America and that would give them more credibility...

they are changing their open calls to one on one interviews because people wont have a chance to walk out when they're there. I have worked for three weeks and no pay, pulling money from where it doesnt exist to only find out that in the end they WON'T pay you until you have 25 enrollments or in other words you have made them 25000 dollars. I already made them a 1000 and I regret every penny of it.

Until you make those 25 you don't get paid, you dont get a base salary, nada. If you scout sisters or a family you only get credit for one. How is that!!!!! You bring in twins, they enroll and you make them 2000 dollars but you only get $10!!!!! As I calculated with my fellow new scouts you'd have to bring in 300 people a week to make some kind of money and actually have those people go on to the exit interviews or you dont get credit. New York is big, but not that big.

I really I wish I had the money to continue only to be able to bring this all out to light and keep people informed, do another expose of some sort. Of all the reports I read I'm the only one from New York and I thought I should speak up for this city since my office is supposed to have the most enrollments and "shows" of all the offices in the nation...and there are many.

I have sent this to my "group" in hopes they will continue on a better path. One scout had been there 2 months and still no pay. I have even sent this extensive ripoff report to my "supervisor" twice and no reply. I hope that people will continue to post and also go to the better business bureau. People need to be informed about this. I wish I had been before spending so much. Just chalk it up to experience and call it day. Good luck to all.
