William Briscoe AKA/Mr. I don't wanna do my job: HomeAdvisor's inept and poorly trained business customer service manager implied recently that he doesn't care about the fact that home-advisor sells defective websites to trusting and well meaning service providers.  Mr. Briscoe's attitude is, "I don't give a crap that homeadvisor sells broke a** websites, I'm just here to collect my pay and do nothing but work on my country music label and get better at playing the banjo".

I am the party who filed the on-line complaint against HomeAdvisor's Customer Service Manager William Briscoe.  It's the fair and decent thing for me to apoligize to Mr. Briscoe for my comments concerning his professionalism, so I apoligize Mr. Briscoe.  I apoligize for my comments that were made in anger & frustration when you refused to help me.  Below is a copy of the email that I sent to the Ripoff report yesterday dated 10/17/15:

Removal of ripoff report comment.: Ripoff report support,

I made a comment on your site regarding the refusal by William Briscoe (Customer service manager, HomeAdvisor) to provide assistance.

HomeAdvisor sold a defective website to my business in May of 2015. The defect in the website was giving my business the appearance of impropriety by not forwarding requests by potential customers to be contacted.

I brought this to the attention of HomeAdvisor customer service for the first time in May 2015 and several more times during June, July, August, September and October 2015.

Because first line HomeAdvisor customer service was providing zero assistance, I requested supervisor support and spoke with Susan Bagwell (Mid September) who listened to my complaint and brought my concern to her manager (William Briscoe) and after waiting two weeks, I was told by Susan Bagwell (I would like to quote), "Will Briscoe said HomeAdvisor will not be doing anything about this issue".

Susan went on to say that I would need to speak with Will Briscoe if I needed to speak any further (Per his direction), I asked to be forwarded to Mr. Briscoe's extension and I did leave a message letting him know that he needed to return my call and after a week had gone by and my call was not returned I sent emails asking to be contacted and this request was again ignored by HomeAdvisor.

This was the point at which I made my comment on the ripoff report regarding Will Briscoe's implied attitude towards my complaint concerning the defective website HomeAdvisor had built and sold me and that was actively causing great harm to my established business. This comment and a BBB complaint finally got the attention of Melissa Brown (Customer service director).

Melissa explained that they would be looking into the matter (FINALLY).

Because HomeAdvisor has finally decided to do something about all the trouble that they have caused for my business, I am requesting removal of my comments from your site. HomeAdvisor's leadership has agreed to send a document that I can submit to my clients who visited the defective website HomeAdvisor built for my business; customers who submitted a request to be contacted by my business (By filling out a form and submitting this form on the subject website), requests that were never forwarded to my business for a period of five (5) months.  Unfortunately, this has resulted in uncalcuble losses in potential revenue to my business and damage to my businesses reputation.  I am giving HomeAdvisor a chance to repair the harm they have caused my business and I hope they decide to take advantage of it and not cause my business any further problems.   

This is the reply recieved from Ripoff report after submission of my request to have my comments removed:

Additional information:  It's my opinion that when a HomeAdvisor Manager instructs a person under their direction (In this case a well meaning supervisor) that they are assuming responsibility for a complaint, that Manager should act like a Manager and do their duty and not ignore it.
