BEWARE of Brenda Keefer and Willow Mist Professional Services.  They are a ripoff and scam of the 1st degree.

In January 2012 I hired Brenda to help me secure speaking engagements.  I should have known there was a problem when the only payment method she would accept was Western Union.  No checks, no merchant.

She promised to create a post card and send to over 200 possible speaking opportunities every month for a year.  And each one would be followed up with a phone call and I would get a report as to status, who she contacted and results.  I have never received anything.

About 3 weeks into our relationship I read some negative information about her on the internet.  When I discussed whith her she agreed to refund my money if I wasn't happy after 6 months. Even got that in writing for all the good it did. Here's what happened.

It took almost 3 months to get the postcard designs ready.  I don't know if she ever sent any out or not as she wouldnt' send me an example.  I do know there were no results.  Every time I called or emailed there was some problem.  She had a death in her family, her mother-in-law was ill, she injured her ankle, she had bronchitis, she was at a conference, she had technology problems, she had to change her bank, she had problems with her phone company and ISP and had to change them and so was without contact for over a week and the list goes on.

Finally I requested my money back.  Took 2 months and repeated calls an emails.  Finally she sent me checks for $100, post dated.  The first 2 bounced and cost me $30 in bounced check fees.  She promised to make good on those checks and the bank fees, and the other money she owed me.  That was 4 months ago and I've heard nothing, never received any money, never had any bookings as a speaker or heard from her again.

Repeated attempts to contact her have gone unanswered.  What have I received from her?  Several email blasts about potential speaking engagements and to contact her if interested.  Guess what...she doesn't even respond to those.

I'm pretty astute but I admit I was taken for a ride by her.  What's the cost to me?  Besides a ton of my time I'm out over $1200 to date.

IF BRENDA KEEFER CONTACTS YOU JUST DELETE HER EMAILS.  She's nothing but a scam artist who takes your money and delivers nothing.
