Winfield Murdock company is nothing more than a sham! The little white haired guy that claims to be Winfield is really George Pereira and he is a has been or wish he was. I made the mistake of giving him a very large sum for a deposit for some costumes. I never received any costumes from the company and he never returned my money. The minute he got the deposit his whole demeanor changed.

Do not use this company for anything! They will rip you off like they ripped me off. I'm out $4000 and I have nothing but a box of rags to show for it. Winfield AKA George is a poor excuse for a human being/business person.

This company is a fraud and he pretends that he knows how to make costumes but instead he has a 2 bit seamstress in his office pretending that she knows what shes doing.

There are plenty of costume makers out there. DO NOT USE THIS ONE! You will be sorry!!

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Winfield Murdock Creatve Works LLC - a professional costume design workroom

AUTHOR: Roger, Business Partner - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, November 09, 2016

Winfield Murdock Creative Works LLC is owned by my business partner George Pereira and myself. We design (and build) costumes (and props) for theme parks worldwide, cruise lines, and theater/ballet/opera/etc. This company has been in existence for three years in Orlando, with over forty years of solid, successful experience in San Francisco, Hollywood, Las Vegas, and Branson MO. We have had over forty satisfied customers in those three years in Orlando. We will gladly furnish business references and theater reviews upon request.

With respect to the above report by Mr. Larry Knight, we agreed to design and build two costumes for him. We took his deposit without being furnished a legal contract, then created his costumes but he (and his partner) proved to be so difficult to work with (constant changes, profanity and vulgarity to our face, and other unprofessional behavior) that we realized we could not move forward and decided to end the relationship.

We returned all fabric we had purchased for the costumes, the "muslin" mock-up/trial costumes we had created for the fittings, and our patterns... that really another person could use to make Mr. Knight's costumes. We of course kept the initial deposit, to cover the many hours of work we had put in on this project.

Mr. Knight decided to sue us, but refused arbitration, so took us to court, and lost. The judge decided in our favor.
