They came out to do service work on a Wednesday -- said they would be done that same day.... Later that day they called me and said they would need to come by tomorrow (Thursday) to finish up... They had the lockbox combo since this was a new construction.  As it turned out they didnt come out thursday but came out friday and we had the alarm on. 

They never contacted us to say the alarm was going off, or that they were even entering our property.  The police were dispatched.

They then sent me a bill for $1305
After they quoted me at around $800 with labor & material

I told their billing dept several times that i wasnt paying the full amount because between the fees of the alarm company for dispatching police, and the fees the police charge for false alarms is arouind $200.

Finally their billing manager said they agreed to accept $1105
I gave them my credit card - it was billed $1105

And then a few weeks later i got a letter stating
"The fact the alarm went off was not our fault"
"The balance of $200 is due in 5 days or we will hand your name into our collections lawyer"

They knew i wouldnt have given them any money until we agreed to a $200 discount, the lied to get our credit card... then threatened to take us to court

Very unscrupulous billing dept
They will lie right to you to better their position and then go back on their word.

I did just contact BBB & I'm hoping this company fixes this matter sooner than later.  If they do resolve the issue at hand we will remove/erase this compaint.
