It does not matter responding good or bad to the comments posted on Rip Off Report as once the seed is planted and people wonder if it's true or not the damage is done. The laws for slander and defamation are the same in the US and Cdn.

The legal court order for Mr. Sheppard was to remove the listed names from public view based on the findings that it was false, and found to be slander and defamation of character would be the same in the US as in Canada. As Mr. Sheppard suffered a fatal heart attack while in court he will not be able to update his postings and remove the names. We are now contacting the owner of Rip Off Report that is responsible for keeping the site up and running and available for public view to assist us in the removal of the names.  The order was granted based on the conditions that the postings were found to be slander and defamation of character and false. Which is against your posting policies and grants the removal based on this alone. As the owner or worker of ROR that is responsible for keeping the site updated, regulated and posting reports to the server we request that they receive this massage in full. We are requesting that this person responsible for making the reports available for public view to grant the legal court order based on the nature of the findings.

It was ruled in our favour to have several slanderous and malious postings on the internet by a disturbed person removed. One of the sites that has several postings in Rip Off Report.

 

See attached Legal Court Document for removal and public notice of death. The defendant which was ordered to do this, has died and had not followed through on the court order. We are asking that Rip Off Report step in and remove any postings as ordered by court.

 

Jamies gramar problems clearly show he is the one behind all the postings.

In my opinion, it's very clear this man needs to see someone about his behavior.

He continues to story tell and post false statements, slander and cause defamation towards others. His reactions fueled by hate are disturbing.  If he could only get his head out of his asswhole for long enough maybe he then could think straight. Blaming and posting against others for what is happening at his own kennel is also very disturbing.

I do believe all his postings are reflecting on what is happening at his own kennel and life. He is trying to blame others and hide the truth to what is happening in his own life.  

It is clear this man is troubled and would benefit by getting some professional help. With his lengthy problems, police reports, court case against him and so many upset people this man needs to look at himself for why is this happening? Its people reactions to Jamie Sheppard own behavior.

I do think he needs to look into mental disorders. He clearly has a childhood history of abuse or neglect that has led him into a life of abusing others.  This man needs to stop and look with in himself to heal his life. For his family, he needs to stop taking advantage of people. Pay his fines, and get help.

I posted the truth and anyone who visits our kennel can see for themselves what we are about.
We have employees working here for a couple of years and are dedicated professionals.
Now their campaign is to harass anyone who supports our kennel including innocent bystanders.
When someone posts a thread they attest to the report being true. These malicious blatant lies written in the numerous threads make a mockery of the forum that posts them.

I wrote Alena to inform her once again of Jamies posting against her. This is what I learned.

She informs me that Mr. Sheppard never paid or exchanged any items or funds for the standard poodle she offered Jamie. Alena kept the poodle after 6 months of many promises for payments that never arrived. When the poodle was returned in poor coat condition she decided to investigage Jamie and made some calls.

She quicky learned what she feared he has a history for not paying. The lady she contacted used to work with Mr. Sheppard in the past. The lady was very disappointed he did the same thing to her and with in two weeks of the police helping her get her dog back he moves on to strike again. She told Alena WHY DIDN'T CALL BEFORE!! This other breeder offered winsome kennels her stud dog under the agreement that she would get pick of litter puppy from each breeding or a reduced stud fee. After a year of no payments from Mr. Sheppard and no returned calls. She called the police and had her dog recovered. He was returned in poor coat condition as well. Sets of pictures from both these ladies exist showing the stud poodles coming from Winsome kennels matted and with sores.

Court documents show that the airline pilot admitted he wasn't even sure he worked that day as he was a new pilot for Tofino Air. The manager even admitted to patting the poodle on his back but not inspecting his health or coat condition. That she was not qualified on dogs fur or grooming needs.

I have read reports over this poodles condition in question. The poodles coat condition was documented and pictures taken by a Qualified Certified groomer, vet and breeders on Vancouver Island and other witnesses.
This was proven in court, and was not denied by the judge. Witness letter provided further down on this page.

The law suit Alena vs. Jamie. The court records show The judge ruled over the clause regarding breach of contract over the poodles coat condition was to vague. As the contract did not state that the dog needed to be groomed every 6 to 8 weeks but was worded to be kept regularly groomed. The judge could not rule either way over this matter. This matter on his coat would of had to been dealt with by the SPCA. Mr. Sheppard would of been given a warning and if he failed to fix the problem he would of been charged with animal abuse.

Mr. Sheppard admitted that the dog was due to be groomed but could not get him into the groomers. If Mr. Sheppard was so confident on never having any matted dogs at his kennel then surely he would of brought his groomer to court and had her provide her salons grooming notes for all Winsome Kennels dogs.

The Judge awarded Alena the right to keep her dog. Mr. Sheppard claim for the dog back was denied simple because he never paid for him. Alena was not able to claim unjust enrichment for the 8 additional stud services as Mr. Sheppard had agreed to purchase the poodle after the first two breedings while at his Kennel.

Jamie Sheppard continues to this day to blame others for his actions and not take responsibility for what he did.

Is Jamie Sheppard profittinig thousands of dollars off of dogs not even owned by him? Are these puppies that he is selling even his, can people be sued for the dogs they are buying from him? I guess he knows the system well and knows how to profit from it. I do believe he has a pattern here for taking dogs and not paying for them.
I have heard he has quite the high turn over for employees a big reason was he didn't pay them. Feeling sorry for dogs being treated life wild wolves. Bred every six months, hundreds of dogs and puppies that are crying and barking to get of off the kennels and loved by people.

Two stud services that were to be paid by the time the puppies were 8 weeks old. 6 months later no payment. Jamie agreed to this and signed a contract which I saw. The judge awarded Alena for these breedings.


(Jamie writes = identally, the airline that flew the Poodle testified in court that if the dog was in the condition she claimed they would have never accepted to fly him. Fortunately for me the airline manager had come outside and had taken the time to pet the poodle.)

Air line manager admits in court patting the dog when it arrived. I have read three different statements over this managers contact with the dog now. The story keeps changing surely its not that hard to remember the truth.

(Jamie writes = Alena had claimed he was covered in fecal matter and all matted.)

Alena has stated THE DOG SMELLED LIKE FECAL MATTER, and was matted. That Jamie even admitted to this. Jamie writes his coat was like this because the other kennel dogs running in dirt, sand and stepping in poop then jumping on each other.

The poodle arrived from Jamie as stated below by the lady and breeder that picked him up for Alena. The four people in the truck could not believe it was the same dog they had seen before. The dog smelled so bad they had to leave him in the crate in the back of the truck.

I'm writing in regards to the condition of Dusty AKC registered Poodle that was shipped from Winsome Kennels to Nanaimo on April 10 by Tofino Air. Alena had asked me if I was able to help her to pick up Dusty from Nanaimo. Alena had told me she wouldn't of been able to make the long drive to the sea plane and be their in time to pick Dusty up. I was willing to help Alena and picked Dusty up for her. I contacted her the first night I had him, to let her know what I was seeing: explain and that he seemed to be uncomfortable in the condition he was in.

I had several people with me when I picked him up that witnessed his smell and condition. Names and contact #'

I bathed Dusty twice to try to remove the odor urine and fecal matter that we could smell on him. We were able to clean him up to the best of my ability but he still needed further professional grooming to remove the heavy matt's. I delivered Dusty to Alena where she bathed him again and continued to groom him.

We had met Dusty while he lived at Alenas back in the Summer 2006. We thought he was a white dog, he was so clean and well groomed. We couldn't believe this was the same dog when we picked him up on April 10. He was not as out going as when we first met him, he was shy and unsure of himself. He appeared to lack human contact, and his coat condition was in very neglected shape. It was clear he wasn't being groomed and kept in clean quarters to be so dirty and smelly.


Mr. Sheppard has since hired a groomer and bought dog clippers to care for the dogs living at winsome kennels. A positive outcome for sure is that Mr. Sheppard has learned he was in need of a groomer and grooming equipment.

(Jamie writes = Alena sued me for $25,000 claiming ownership of the puppies from the 2 unpaid breedings and I countered sued over the business deal that went sour.)

Alena sued for Travel expenses to the sunshine coast, two unpaid stud fee's from her poodle, the remaining purchase price from an labradoodle and the unjust enrichment for the 8 other breedings Jamie used off of her stud poodle.

The court awarded Alena the right to keep her stud dog. Over awarding Mr. Sheppard owner ship or replacement value to the stud dog. Alena proved in court the poodle was in fact owned by her. That Jamie never paid for the dog as promissed. She was also awarded the two stud services and the money owed for the labradoodle. The judge did not awarded her the 8 other breedings as Mr. Sheppard had agreed to purchase the poodle before the breedings had taken place.

(Jamie writes = judge's ruling was a split decision awarding Alena $2700 and awarding me $950.00 leaving a balance of $1650.00 and not awarding Alena the $1600.00 she claimed for expenses. Alana's net gain after a two day trip from Vancouver Island to Sechelt Provincial Court was $50.00.) Note Jamie mocks Alena repeated over grammar and spelling but has multiple spelling errors. It is not common typing errors!! (Alana's misspelled)

(Jamie writes = I ended up with a Labradoodle and 4 puppies. Certainly, in my eyes, this was a well deserved victory. How you think I could be upset with this ruling baffles me. I e-mailed Alena offering her back her Labradoodle because she claimed in court how much the dog meant to her and had posted pretty much the same thing on her website although she claimed on her site I had stolen the dog. Interesting how her position changed outside of the court.)

Jamie offers Alena once she arrives back in Victoria to come and the labradoodle in trade of the court ordered payment awarded to Alena. Mr. Sheppard also sends an email offering to settle the supreme court action brought on by Mr. Sheppard against Alena for speaking up over this matter. He asks for a one time settlement of $25,000 over the $100,000 he originally filed for over a year ago.

Jamie offers Misty and her puppies to Alena on the first day of trail as he claims he can't sell them and she is a horrible mother. On day two the judge asks him about is offer to give Misty and her puppies to Alena. Mr. Sheppard changes his mind and decides he wants to keep them. The judge rules over the matter of Misty and her puppies. She orders Mr. Sheppard to pay for the labradoodle as no agreement could be met between the two parties.

Three weeks after trail Alena has not received court ordered payment. Alena's has to get her lawyer to get payment for the court ordered settlement.

My countersuit was based on the fact that Alena was in possession of a dog that belonged to me. When I called Alena to inquire were my dog was she said she had given him to her friend Holly and gave me her number. I was upset when I called because Holly was being evasive. I pointed out that she was in possession of my dog and if she didn't return the dog I would be coming over with the police.)

Alena was contacted by a lady that purchased a dog from Mr. Sheppard. She was promised if her daughter reacted to the golden doodle she could send the dog back. The lady's daughter had a horrible allergic reaction and broke out in hives!. Mr. Sheppard refused to take the dog back as promised by Jamie if her daughter reacted. The lady was able to find Alenas name through contacting other breeders for help. Alena has helped many homeless dogs and dogs in need over the years and opened her home again to another puppy.

Alena agreed out of the goodness of her heart to take the puppy until this lady could resolve the problem or find the puppy a new home. The puppy was at Alena's home for a day and a half and was given to Holly.

Holly and Alena new each other through a dog Alena had placed years earlier. Holly agreed to take the golden doodle puppy and try him. She also reacted to the dog and placed an ad and gave the dog away.

Jamie claims three weeks after selling this puppy the credit card payment was reversed, but never showed any proof. As Alena had taken this puppy she was held accountable for the money Mr. Sheppard claimed was owed. Since Mr. Sheppard was awarded the purchase price for a male golden doodle her travel expenses were not granted. The puppy she helped find a home for ended up costing her $3000. $3000 for a dog that she never received any money for.
A puppy that was given to her, that she gave away. Just like the puppies Mr. Sheppard is giving away again, Free puppies from winsome kennels but are they really free. or will you end up having to pay for them?

I had a lady that used to work for Jamie describe him as a person that believes his own stories. A person that sees with only tunnel vision. That he only hears or believes what he wants and things to be the truth. That he thrives from any attention no matter what it might be. He likes being in the spot light.

He often talks about poor me, I have to look after my sick second wife. To find out she is a drinker a commom problem with natives. It is also common for abuse with native people. With statistics showing 100% of native women are abuse at some point in their lives.

Jamie Sheppard was ordered by court not to expand his kennel but clearly states how his kennel is getting larger. This shows his disregard to following rules or the law.

Again Jamie says Alena mocks his kennel. Which does not make sense as I have heard Alena state many times if she felt his kennel was so bad she would of never send her dogs to him. That from what she saw on his web site it looked nice. He is so quick to point fingers and point blame away from him. Thousands of people disagree with kennels but according to him the only person is Alena.

If Jamie wasn't friends how would he know Ms. Ward details over leaving the SPCA. The report that Ms. Wards name was on was never signed or official. The new SPCA manager noted that several dogs had just been shaved the day they inspected his kennel. The SPCA manager had an appt to view the kennel around mid day. He has all morning to prepair for an inspection. That they never saw the poodle in question 6 weeks before this sceduled appt. As it has been just shy of two months since the matted dog left, Jamie has plenty of time to clean up his kennel.

This is how he tries to draw attention away from myself and his kennel by drawing attention some where else. Their is several golden doodle breeders on the island. Two in Ladysmith, one in Nanaimo, one is Parkville, Two in Comox, One in Mill Bay two in Victoria.
Alena does not even breed golden doodles, Why Jamie continues to blame her is proving the tunnel vision the past worker describes.

Shows Jamies nature and pleasure he takes in mocking others. After Alena's and Jamies court case, Jamie called some of her witnesses and laughed on the phone, or commended Justice Prevailed and huge up. Call display showed his number, and was pictured and documented.


I can not believe what his person has put this poor women through and to this day continues to cause problems for her. I do encourage people to visit the kennel, as the last lady that contacted me cried on the phone after what she saw.
