Have been a customer of Verizion Wireless for 12 years, went to location to up grade phone and renew contract,this is where Verizion sent us. The phone that was purchased was an older model phone (did not tell me that) the microphone did not work went back to the location to return within 7 day's. They stated that they no longer carred that model and they could exchange it for a refurbished one, we stated that it did not seem right to do that since we paid the pric of a new upgrade phone 106.99.

Thay said they could locate us another phone and have it shipped to there location. A week later they called and said they had gotten a phone from another state and we could come pick it up. We did this phone also is having problems so we called Verizion and spoke with a customer care specialist (5 times). They stated that they have a worry free policy and that we could return it back to Wireless Zone for a refund.

Went back to the location for the 4th time and the owner/manager refused to refund are mney saying they do not return accessories and the phone must have under 100 minu=. of usage, when I picked the replacement phone up how would I know if it was new or refurbished? Should I take thier word for it?

The owner/manager was rude to my husband laughed and said we would be back, he would not honor Verizions WORRY FREE policy. IS this the type of company Verizion wants to repersent them out in the marketplace?

Now we have a phone that is not working properly and had to sign a two year contract that we will have to pay on to cancel. All of this within a 20 time frame.

I would suggest that you do not purchase anything from this location they will not refund your money and will just smile and say TOO BAD your stuck.......

Verizion stated we must return the phone to the retailer where it was purchased, he will not refund our money or cancel the contract what do we do now?

Verizion will not work with us on finding a solution to this, but htis location is strictly a Verizion carrie and are repersenting Verizion - stay away from WIRELESS ZONE and think twice about signing a contract with Verizion Wireless.

Being in that position stinks and as with any company there will be sour experiences. Having been part of this industry for 20 years and having represented VZW for over 10 years I may be able to give you some solutions if this occurs again with any company you deal with.

Firstly I would have made sure I informed the owner and gave the them the chance to make it right.

If you have no luck there then the Wireless Zone parent company would want to know about it (Middletown, CT) and may lend help.

The same applies for the "right person" at Verizon. It would need to be escalated beyond a customer service rep though.

The key is that if you were truly hung out to dry for no good reason the right representative will want to and be able to help make it right.
