We have been ripped off by a smooth con-artist... Hilaire Williams. I inquired about a horse they had on their web site. that was "bombproof begainner safe". I was assured that there was no need to drive all the way to Ramona to ride, that this mare was everything I could ever want in a safe, family horse. I bit the BS and bought the horse. After the horse arrived by shipper, I was told that the horse had to be drugged to load.
We figured we could work on that. We let the mare settle in for the night. The next day, just to get the saddle on took 45 min. Not a good sign. Finally, getting on, I RODE about out of site of the barn and our other horse... this mare came unglued. Talk about barn /buddy sour... I don't know how good of a trail she is because we can't get to the woods. All Hilaire would say is "she didn't do that here" and wouldn't even talk about trading back or a refund. Now we are finding out that she buys her horses at sale for a few hundred and tries to make a few thousand. Other people have been scamed by her and comming foward. She needs to be put out of bussiness before someone gets really hurt or killed on her drugged horses. I guess we'll have to take this crazy mare to the sale and cut our losses. Maybe Hilaire will buy it again there and re-sale... BEWARE... THIS SNAKE WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING!!!

This "story" never happened. I never sold any horse to a "Brian", don't have any or advertise as having for sale any beginner type horses, have NEVER used a shipper to send a horse anywhere AND the city from which this "Brian" reported.....doesn't exsist in the state of Calif.
The people who wrote this report have more then a dozen reports filed against them on this site under the names, Kathryn Smith, Mike Smith and The Shire Farms in Cherryville, NC. They have dozens of victims and lawsuits pending against them for gross misrepresentation of sale horses.
Their sale horses come from auctions in and around NC and are drugged for sale to beginners and kids.
These people pass themselves off as "trainers and "show photographers" none of which is true. They are known sociopathic con-artists out to make a fast buck off their victims. Search their names on this site to read the dozens of reports.

Good try Kathryn..... Totally false report made by the queen of horse scams. Couldn't even get my address right so you pick a name and a city in Calif. to file a false report??
I've warned enough people about your horse scam so now you're retaliating...Good, it's working! 30+ people who've come forward now to report that you've ripped them off...we're talking class action lawsuit in the works.
