Wondershare Products are bogus and their idea of customer service is sorely lacking. Run, run as fast as you can to someone in this country who you can trust! Internet

In July, 2012, I purchased a product called Wondershare AllMyTube for Mac with the idea of downloading you tube videos.  After having received the key in an email, I registered the product and tried to download several youtube videos without any success.  I thought perhaps I was experiencing operator error and kept trying but finally realized it wasn't me...perhaps it was the product.  

Silly me, I spent more money on them!  This time, in October, I spent $75.95 on a product entitled Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate for Mac and, wouldn't you know it....I experienced the same problem.

I contacted them via email and, after several attempts and, even after going to the Apple store for assistance (at their suggestion) I was no closer to being able to download the videos.  I asked them to provide a phone number since communicating with them via email was unsuccessful.  Another email arrived which indicated they don't offer customer service via telephone.  That was my last clue...this company is a big ripoff and I'd highly recommend you not go anywhere near this company.  The only addresses indicated on their website are in China, Japan, and Germany.

Wondershare Customer Service update


After filing the initial report, I received a phone call from a Wondershare Manager and he was very gracious and apologized for the inconvenience I'd experienced with their products.  He indicated he'd read the entire email thread surrounding the purchase of both products and my problems with attempting to use them.  He offered his assistance by asking my to send links of the sites I'd tried to download videos from and he said that, if the problem couldn't be resolved, I would receive a complete refund.  I was able to download two videos (having only tried those two) with success.  I just tried to download another and it failed.  Sent an email to the manager and he replied nearly immediately.  This fix is a work in progress.  My faith is slowly being restored in the company and its product.  I'm not completely satisfied yet but will continue working with the manager until either I keep the product or ask for a refund.

Wondershare Software does take customer support seriously and in fact have an office in the US (California) and upon seeing this complaint I contacted the customer via telephone (she's very nice!)  and alerted her to a new version of Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate Mac that was just released this past week and offered to walk her through the process of installing and downloading a YouTube video using the program.  I sent her a follow up email with my contact information and a link to the new version of Video Converter Ultimate Mac and asked her to let me know if she continued to have difficulty.  Wondershare Software will refund her money if we cannot resolve her issue.
