Workout World W.O.W. Workout World False Advertisement,Deceptive Selling Practices,Breach of Contract, Poor Standards of Operation La Mirada, California

Workout World is a gym which recently opened (November 2009). Since opening, WOW has failed to provide services they advertised as included in Charter Memberships which were suppose to be of short supply. The Charter Member ship (of which my family and I purchased four) included child care,personal training,tanning beds,and classes.All services mentioned were to be included and at no additional cost.
It is now February 1st, of 2010 I have yet to be given an explanation as to why my family and I have not been given the services we were promised.I have been hung up on and put on hold for over half an hour every time I call to speak to someone regarding my concerns only to then be told the managers have left or are unavailable for the remainder of the day/night.
The only explanation on one of my issues of concern was to suggest I interpreted the personal training special incorrectly. Such is to say that by "personal training" they imply they offer "small group training". Upon reviewing the documentation I have on the issue, their fliers and bench's which the gym used to advertise the charter membership special, none of the advertisements offer any asterisk types of notifications specifying the difference or that there are any specifications to the deal offered at all. When offered this evidence the managers dismissed the benches and fliers as old and outdated but yet they are still in circulation at the counters and on streets all over La Mirada,Ca. misrepresenting the discontinuation of said special offer. Which is admittedly false advertisement.
Upon reviewing the business further I found the Better Business Bureau gave WOW an F rating and several review sites such as (((Redacted))),and even (((Redacted))) offer overly positive reviews on the business in a suspicious manner. In fact, some reviews (theres over 120 positive reviews spanning all mentioned review sites though not limited to them alone) state the gym offers excellent trainers,great environment,new and effective equipment,and amazing staff, but are dated well before the grand opening (November 2009). This fact generates deceit in that before the grand opening and even shortly after, the location was under heavy maintenance and renovation therefore it was impossible to be open and functioning in the parameters said reviews claim.
My family and I alone have paid well into $500+ toward the gym in the way of initial sign up transactions fees,down payments,monthly payments, and initial dues. We want the services we were promised or the money we paid Workout World back in entirety. Only one of the four accounts active is able to use the gym because childcare is being charged as an additional fee that adds up to the same price as a monthly membership.

It is time W.O.W. shapes up or ships out!
