Current name: world wide vintage autos , formally known as mile high city cars. These companies and sales associates advertise vehicles on eBay,  Hemmings, and Classic Cars .com  the person I dealt with during my ordeal is Sean Bennett .

In February 2013 I purchased a 1948 Chevy pickup from  sales associate Sean Bennett and the former mile high city car store  this truck was advertised on ebay as absolutely beautiful newer restorationflawless etc. etc.  including the motor , the compliments on this advertisement made the truck sound like something I was looking for.  I purchased the truck for $16,500  plus   $ 1,300 .00 for transport when finalizing the financial end of this deal Mr Bennett said all paper work would be handeled through pammi motors, this was a dealership used idle"mile high city cars" used for licensing reasons . I thought it was a little odd but Sean  Bennett assured me this is how they did buisness .

I purchased the truck and when it arrived and when the hauler tried to start the truck it would not start, we had to push it off the hauler. As it was winter time I pushed the truck into my garage to look it over and inspect things . Knowing we do not live in a perfect world I knew from the beginning I woul probably have spend some additional monies on the truck , as nothing is ever what it  appears to be.  What I didn't expect was this  advertised  " rust free" truck to be spot painted to cover rust,  misaligned hood and doors , interior head panel falling off, widow and door handel  stripped and  not working  and spray paint half sprayed in the door jambs.

Actually that would have been fine if I didn't have to replace the wiring , starter, upper rockers ,drive shaft , universal to drive shaft , rear end gears , and currently having a engine built as the truck would never stay running  according to my mechanic the engine was Not worth repairing  . So 1 1/2 year later and a additional  $8,000.00 dollars in repairs, above the $16,500.00 I spent on the truck I have yet to drive this vehicle ! Or get a return phone call from Sean Bennett

I have talked other anopress who have fallen victim to world wide vintage autos and pammi motors and the former milehighcitycarstore , all of which were scammed in the same manner .  The tactics and threats of law suits to these other people were were the same until the accusers were threatened into submission . I welcome such tactics.  Enough of these crooks stealing a persons hard earned money. And in the end what goes around .............
