Worldwide Relocations Inc. is a corrupt moving company. We advise any prospective clients to seek services anywhere else. The employees of this company, with whom we have had contact, misled and lied to us repeatedly.

We were planning a move from Buffalo, NY to Denmark. I spoke with Josh Morales several times on the phone, to plan the move in early August 2004. When hearing our estimate of 200 cubic feet, he quoted us approximately 2,000 dollars for a door to door move. I asked repeatedly if there were any hidden fees, and he said "No". He quoted us a shipping time of approximately 4 weeks, from our door in NY to our door in Denmark.

Then the problems began. First, they lost our paperwork several times. They didn't send us forms required by their company, and then berated us for not returning the forms promptly. When we asked for a contract, they refused to return our phone calls. The receptionist was extremely rude on the phone.

One of their agents told us that if we delayed our move, he could omit any extra packing charges.

We paid a 200 dollar deposit, plus the entirety of their estimated quote before the day of the move.

Then it got worse. We made countless phone calls and sent endless e-mails, inquiring about our shipment, with no response. There was no way to track our shipment.

Our dismay grew when we finally received an e-mail from Loyra Rivera, wanting to know why we hadn't paid our revised invoice. Difficult to do when she never sent it! Graciously, she offered to "resend it".

Now we were becoming suspicious if our shipment had been sent, or was just sitting on the dock in NJ.

The final invoice charged us an additional 1750.00 dollars! All of the new charges had never been disclosed prior to the move. Again, wanting to resolve these issues, we called and called and called, only reaching answering machines and voice mails. Ms. Rivera did not reply to any of our e-mails.

It is now October 17, 2 months since our shipment was picked up. We have no idea where our things are, and the company refuses to contact us. We have just sent a certified letter, listing our complaints and demanding a response. We are now about to follow some of the procedures recommended in the other letter.

Worldwide Relocations has done nothing but ignore us and lie to us. It would have been easier to strap our furniture on our back and swim across the Atlantic than use this moving company.
