worth harley davidson warrenty rip off Kansas City Missouri

I purchased a 2014 tri glide, almost 40,000 dollars. I took out the extended warrenty.

 Rright from day one, I found it very hard to find the nutral gear. I did not report this immediately because I had another harley that did the same thing until I had ridden it for while, then it was ok.

When I took the bike in for the 5000 mile service I then told them of the problem. They  told me it was not covered by the warrenty, because it was a "wearable part" 300 dolars for the part, and 300 dollars labor.

They now tell me, from the goodness of their heart, they will pay for labor, but I will have to buy the part, which is 300 dollars.

I do not feel I should have to pay this for a problem that was there from day one. When I explained all of this to the dealer, they did not believe me and even made it appear that it was my fault.

And if this is normal, no defect, then I can plan on a 600 dollar clutch replacement every 5000 to 6000 miles.

there is something going on here, and they are making me pay for it.
