Complaint Review: Woundwear
Woundwear SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!! Internet
See series of emails below. They are soooo nice in the beginning and then once they have your money they tell at you and say no refunds we never made any promises it must be a sizing issue period. Or it doesn't help everyone so maybe your one who it doesn't help, sorry. I fought it with my credit card company and they said woundwear claims it only "may help" so they are feee and clear. It's a cheap worthless product. Please read all my emails below from the bottom up. You guys are total scammers. My credit card company says the only reason I can't get my money back is because you say the brace "may" help. Bull. I'm posting reviews all over and reported i to BBB. No accredited medical product that's non refundable should rely on no returns and it may or may not help. You are despicable. Around Christmas time too taking advantage of my emotions? Deplorable horrible People. Sent from my iPhone Begin forwarded message: From: Alissa Tym < Reported claim and negative review with BBB you will be hearing from them. Dispute filed with CC company for false advertising you will be hearing from them. ----- Forwarded Message ----- From: Alissa Tym It is a scam. Why would you have an F BBB business rating and bad reviews one from an actual vet online. My vet also says it's a scam. A human surgeon is in no way as qualified as a veterinarian surgeon to recommend orthopedic solutions. Your father (the developer) was very riide to me on the phone, told me I had no common sense and laughed st me. Is that what a professional business man should do? No! There is a reason there are no returns- it's because you know once the customer gets it they realize it's not worth anything and won't do anything. My own vet Dr Van Den Brand from Southpaw veterinary in tampa, fl said I flushed $410 down the toilet and he had heard of your brace before. It has nothing to do with fit- first of all this brace is in no way worth $410 it might have cost you $20 to make. There is no way it would fit on the knee in the right area the way it is designed and my dog walked WORSE with it on. No refund then I will report it to my credit card agency and the BBB. Thank you for your time. Sent from my iPhone On Dec 11, 2016, at 1:49 PM, Joel Spatt <email@example.com> wrote: Hello, First, this business is in no way a scam! We have been around for over 16 years and are a very reputable company with many happy customers. Any product unless it is a scam has some bad reviews and we have many more good then bad. Our brace works great and is a great alternative for many pets. Dr. Spatt is a human surgeon and that makes him even more qualified then a Veterinarian to design a brace as he as even more schooling and experience allowing him to adapt a brace to a dog. We do not offer Refunds or Returns as it says and if it is not working well then we offer you assistance with that. We would suggest sending us some photos of him in the brace so we can see the fit as it may not be on properly. Also, many dogs take some time to adjust to the brace and walking in it, it is not immediate. We are willing to help you get a better fit so you may be able to use it for your dog or we can offer an exchange for sizing. Thanks, Carly From: Alissa Tym Sir/Madam, Since purchasing this product and receiving it, I have realized this is a scam. Your BBB score is an F and there are multiple complains on the rip off report. That said, I am not insulting you but simply asking for my money back and will return the product to you- it was only tried on my pet one time and it does not work he cannot even walk in it- it causes him more pain than without it. We relied on your false representations on the website that claim it would work and videos and testimonials of people showing where it had worked on their dogs- I'm not sure if those people were paid but have since found a multitude of videos not on your website (i.e. youtube) showing how the product doesn't work and is a complete waste of money. My vet at Southpaw animal hospital in Tampa, FL told me after I ordered this that it was a scam and the only fix was surgery. The inventor has no business or credibility in veterinary medicin he is a human doctor, which I'm sure hes very good at being. We cannot afford surgery and I feel your company plays on those emotions to get people like me in my situation to rely on this as a last resort. I was so hopeful for it working and so heartbroken when it didn't work and realizing my dog will have to be put down. Please have a heart and refund the money- I understand your claims are "all sales are final" but your testimonials as to how the product works and cures are false and misleading and that it false advertising. Please help me and refund my money and I will return the once tried on brace. We can wash it for you and it will be good as new. It can be resold its not a one size fits all but rather a size based on a chart, I'm sure you can find someone else desiring that size and if not this is still a scam and I beg you to please not let me be out $410 in addition to losing my beloved dog.
