On Jan 3, 2013 I attempted to purchase an automobile with the assistance of WOW AUTO DEALS, LLC and business owner Juan Carlos Cortavarria.   I was asked to review several vehicles and that the total monies were due upfront in order to purchase the vehicle via the auction.  Unfortunately, once the monies were received by Juan Carlos Cortavarria and his accomplice Frantz Deralus, they no longer had any interests in the sales agreement.  There was total neglect regarding the sales transaction.  I made several attempts to contact Juan Carlos Cortavarria and Frantz Deralus who indicated that his cell phone was disconnected due to non-payment.  Juan Carlos Cortavarria finally returned my call indicating that he was busy and could not attend to me at that time.  I went to his office attempting to quickly resolve the matter but also realized that something was very wrong and it appeared that I had been scammed.  Juan Carlos gave me excuses after excuses and later began contact only after I involved the Davie Police Department to get some assistance.  He then began contact via text messaging only with the same lies, inconsistent stories and excuses regarding his business practice.   I am out of $5200.00 cash and nor did I receive the intended purchase of a vehicle.  Juan Carlos Cortavarria is a smooth talker, a liar, and a scam artist who knows how to operate his deceptive practice under the law.  I filed numerous complaints with all the state agencies in hopes of them bringing WOW Auto Deals, LLC accountable for their deceptive practices.  I would like to warn all consumers DO NOT PURCHASE OR ENGAGE IN ANY BUSINESS TRANSACTION WITH JUAN CARLOS CORTAVARRIA OR WOW AUTO DEALS, LLC as they are not ethical business professionals.  As of February 19, 2013 I still do not have my full refund which I requested from Juan Carlos Cortavarria nor a the intended purchased item.

AUTHOR: SCAM ARTISTS - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, February 23, 2013

On February 20, 2013, I received a call from WOW AUTO DEALS, LLC Business owner Juan Carlos Cortavarria who claimed that he wanted to resolve the matter asap after countless complaints were filed against him for the refund of my money.  Juan Carlos Cortavarria agreed to payout the monies he took from me less his finder's fee.  I arrived with the assistance of Davie PD and did not receive the money as scheduled on that day, but on February 21, 2013 I did receive the balance of the monies I paid out to WOW AUTO DEALS, LLC less his finder's fee which I believe is still unjustified as I never got possession of a vehicle.  I believe that if I had not pursued the avenues of filing numerous complaints with State Agencies against this business, I would not have resolved this matter resulting in the refund of my monies.  I am thankful to the Davie Police Department, City of Davie administrative offices, and the OFR for their assistance.  Consumers beware, if I could lend a piece of advice after this horrible experience, is to take your time and do your due diligence by researching a company's background with the Office of Florida Financial Business and Regulation Department, Better Business Bureau, and the local police department in the town where a business is registered to make sure that they are a quality, viable, and respectable operation.
