DO NOT PURCHASE AT WOW AUTO DEALS! They have many different scams to rob you of THOUSANDS!! THE BROWARD COUNTY POLICE HAVE RECEIVED MANY COMPLAINTS. As I find out too late.

Dina Afonso is considered the "finance manager" it is her job to lie to innocent people. These are not small lies and it's much bigger than omission of fine print details. She is actually luring victims from out of state by lying about the purchase price and loan terms. This is all for them to steal numbers amounting to thousands of dollars. Glen Neemar is the sales person that I dealt with. He attempted to get my funds early by telling me the lenders approved me and he emailed the company account number so that I can deposit $2,500 to resevere the vehicle. I did not agree. I felt much more comfortable bringing funds with me and putting the money down there. YOU BELEIVE THAT YOU ARE RECIEVING A GOOD DEAL. WATCH OUT!!!! I was told by Dina that I had been approved for a car loan after reviewing my qualifying documents. She then said it was okay for me to proceed with my plans of booking a flight to pick up "my" car. Once I arrived I turned in all my original documents that I sent in to be qualified as I was instructed. I verified all the loan terms with the "finance manager", Dina who then changed the purchase price from one amount to a higher amount. A difference of $1,200. Although the price given was not what l agreed to. I was already there so I agreed to the change. I was then prompted to give $5,000 as I discussed would be my down payment toward the principle balance of the newly increased sales price. After I paid I was told to come back at 5:00pm to pick up my car.

Thank goodness I'd come back sooner than 5pm. Instead I came back in an hour and waited until 5pm then they told me the car was still being inspected and I wouldn't receive the vehicle that day. I never received any documents for the money that was collected from me nor did I receive a copy of my loan paperwork as I so eagerly and consistently asked for during my wait.

The following day I was called and told my vehicle was ready. I went directly there. During my experience in the lobby I witnessed three different unsatisfied customers going rouge that claim they had been stiffed out of thousands of dollars by their misleading and unethical practices. One of them so angry he slammed the door hard enough to shatter glass all over my leg. The police were called each time these incidents occurred. I was called into the office by Dina where I questioned the level of disappointment each customer expressed. She showed me a form that said their deposit is non- refundable and these people just didn't see the obvious bold print. Dina then began to explain to me that I was not approved for a loan unless I put done $1,025 more down. I was both puzzled and afraid I would loose my deposit and my sole purpose for being there. My immediate response was to ask why she told me otherwise before I traveled so far. She just said its the only thing the bank can do. She said the bank is making me put down half of the sales price. She came up with a payment plan for me to pay this sudden down payment over the course of two weeks. I agreed and by the end of the day left the dealership with my car. Three weeks later I make a payment to the bank and ask my loan balance only to find out it is double of what I was told and signed for. My interest rate is supposed to be 12%, instead it's over 29%. My prepayment penalty is not $75 it's over $4,000. A portion of my down payment was not accounted for, and I have yet to receive my registration. The big mystery is how they were able to get my signature on the bill of sale stating the terms that I'd not heard of until I was told by the bank.

The first thing I did was contact Wow Auto Deals to tell them of the discrepancy but when they were unable to come up with a reason for the change, they made it seem as though I was supposed to know.

I was scammed and they did not care what lies they told me. To them Its my word against there's. I will turn this into a civil matter and if I cannot recover my loss, at least I will help prevent others from the financial ruin that this can bring upon them.

File your complaint NOW

AUTHOR: doit - ()

POSTED: Saturday, December 20, 2014

One thing dealers fear most are customers who file complaints with the State Attorney General. If a dealer gets too many complaints, they could be fined or even have their  license revoked.  Here I leave you the link to the Florida state attorney General so you can star writing your complaints and get the help that you need

I was a victim also! I was one of the customers who they had to call the police on because I caught the scam and they chose not to return my $4,000 down payment. Truck finanaced was suppose to be $12,571. some how I was so happy to have my new truck I didn't see they bumped it to $15,431. LOL Had the truck 11 mths and I still owe $9,000. WTF They burned me because my credit was'nt the best! THEY GOT ME I should only owe about $6,600 right now. I've also most had my truck a year now (interest rate is 28.4%) well DAAAM! I've rebuilt the top end of the motor, had to do the AC system over(they said they fixed it before I picked it up from WOW Auto). I had to do all the brakes and cut the rotors within 5mths. I replace swing arms and everything else under the front end of the truck because it could'nt get an alignment.New O2 Sensor In all I spent about $4,500 on repairs within the first year! THEY GOT ME DON'T LET THEM GET YOU!!!!!!

Wow auto deals wowautodeals worst company to buy cars

AUTHOR: MDvla - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, December 26, 2012

Just check their better business bureau  page they have a grade F : http://www.bbb.org/south-east-florida/business-reviews/consultants-automobile-purchase/wow-auto-deals-in-fort-lauderdale-fl-90039963 OR google them, they have so many complaints. Even in the yellowpages, yelp and foursquare. The general manager/owner Juan Cortavarria is a scam artist, very good people skills to get your trust and then he will rip you off, the same with Amandine, his wife. She plays nice and seems to be sincere, but all they care is about your down payment, and once you sign, you are done. All they do is to take you to the auto deals show you a couple cars, call them a deal and try to get you to buy it, even if they know it will break down in a couple of weeks. My advice is to sue them just like he did: http://dockets.justia.com/docket/florida/flsdce/0:2012cv61990/408536/ AND  stay away from them, and tell your friends a family to stay away as well from these crooks.
