These assholes at WPI are full of it they know d**n well that they are taking advantage of the consumers.I never signed up for no website and they are sending me some stinkin bill for $9.95 Jan 06/$9.95 Feb 06 for I Friends Elite I think if I would have signed up for this than maybe I would have known what the websites name was or got some kind of e-mail telling me that I signed up for services neither happened and this company is fraud as hell. So I called these people up wondering where my hard earned money was going without my permission.Some lady answers the phone and tells me that yup sure as s**t I signed myself up and that they would still have to charge me anyways.I didnt get no 100% satisfaction guarantee like is supposedly in their mission statement this company needs to be closed for good.I hate WPI they defintely aren't are Friends.

ifriends is completely legit! the only fraud is from those scamming the adult web sites trying to score freebie porn

i have been a host for ifriends for many years. they are very legit. i have also myself at one time or another signed up as a viewing member....the proceeders and steps you follow to become a member requires age and payment verification. certain personal information must be provided in order to open an account. there is a very detailed contract explaining word for word what ur membership options are and what your cost are. not to mention,for each time you access your account,you have to pass thru a notification page to verify who you are,and that your aware of what your entering into and what the cost are BEFORE you go on to the next step.

the REAL problem behind this whole thing is those folks who go on porn hopping on the net,let themselves get carried away,they dont READ what they are signing up for,they give their c.c numbers up but dont use self control to limit theirselves. did i mention THEY DONT READ THE WHOLE MEMBERSHIP CONTRACT!!!!!!!!!!
most times they either get carried away and go over their limits then when they get the bill they freak out and dont want to pay so they DENY DENY DENY
or their wives or girlfriends get the bill first.....so they freak..and then the guy freaks and then they ...DENY DENY DENY

bascially the problem is not ifriends.......the problem is......so many out there are abuseing their credit cards on porn and then will do and say anything to get out of paying for it...either cause they got busted,went over their limit,or just embarrased to admit it.

IF THEY CANT AFFORD ONLINE PORN OR ARE WORRIED ABOUT THE WIFE CATCHING THEM......THEN DONT DO IT!!........but dont try and get something for nothing. if ya wanna play..you should have to pay.

most of these folks think they are just hurting some big time corporation...but they fail to realize they are hurting real people at the same time....but the real folks are the ones really suffering when they choose to deny their charges and not pay............the real folks are those women who are just as real as everybody else,like everybody else they are just trying to survive.

some do it full time to support familys,some do it part time to get thru college,some do it for extra x-mas money,some do it as a second job cause they are raising children alone,some do it cause they are dissabled to work outside the home or they are homebound due to high cost of child care. some do it to pay mortgages,high heating bills,food bills,some do it to pay for a loved ones health care,or for their own. i could go on and on....but you get the idea. these are real women working these web sites........with real lives.....real needs and familys just like everybody else. and if ifriends isnt getting paid....niether are they. which means if ya wanna skip out on your charges.....your taking money that some woman earned from you giving to you what you wanted so she can survive in this world.

i think its sad that some guys enter the site.....spend hours and hours taking advantage of their membership,getting all he came for,then whne he's all done,he either calls up his bank,ifriends or his c.c company and denys the charges. thats fraud. thats lieing. thats wrong!

every person who signs up for a membership......and actually reads what they are signing up for before they enter their c.c number,social security number,date of birth,billing address,etc. knows exactly what they are doing......they know exactly what to expect. so when they deny they had no idea,never heard of them,blah blah blah.....they are lieing.
in order for someone to NOT KNOW ,they would have had to be a total victim of identity theft in order to process a membership.......cause with the info you must provide,they'd have to have all know all and be all.......and its just so odd that soooooooo many ticked off ifriends members claiming to NOT HAVE GIVEN APPROVAL.....all suffering from identity theft ......but just only thru ifriends.........things that make ya go.....hhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

ok,i'll stop rambling...i think i made my point......bottom line.......IF YA CANT PAY....DONT PLAY........IF UR WORRIED ABOUT GETTING SCORNED....DONT DO PORN.......AND MOST IMPORTANTLY.......READ FROM TOP TO BOTTOM OF EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU ENTER UR S.S# AND C.C #........CAUSE IF YOU DONT......YOU HAVE NO ONE TO BLAME BUT YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone ever watch "officespace"

In the movie Officespace, they talk about a scam that would (theoretically) shave off percentages of a cent...shave off enough transactions and you would have a nice sum of money. Lets take this company for example: take enough $9 transactions and deposit in an account to earn interest. How much do you think they have earned? Sure when you catch them they return it, but they have already profitted from it!

Prior to posting this RipOffReport.com complaint, Randy contacted us directly to discuss the charges on his account. The standard iFriends membership carries no monthly charge. However, at the time of signup, Randy chose to upgrade to a premium Elite membership. Randy was notified that there would be a charge associated with the Elite membership, and affirmatively consented to the upgrade and subsequent monthly charges. The charges Randy saw were a result of his choice to upgrade to premium membership.

At the time of Randy's call, the Customer Care representative explained the membership and the type of account that was created. Randy requested that the account be cancelled, and the representative cancelled the account immediately upon his request. At no time during this phone call did Randy request a refund or indicate that he was dissatisfied with his iFriends membership.

Our "Customer is Always Right" policy ensures that we take action sufficient to obtain each customer's complete satisfaction, including making refunds for any charges which a customer has incurred but disputes. We wish that Randy had communicated his dissatisfaction with his account to the representative when he called. If he had, we would have immediately refunded the charges that he was billed.

As soon as we became aware of this complaint, we refunded the charges to Randy's account. Depending on his bank's policies, he should see these refunds on his next billing statement. Of course, if he has any further questions, we encourage him to contact our Customer Care Center at (800) 243-9726.

Shortly after Randy created his account, he used our online utility to request that his username and password be sent to him via email. This was done immediately. After this contact, we received no further contact until Randy contacted us by phone to request that his account be cancelled.

We encourage our customers to contact us if they have any questions or concerns. A link to our telephone and email contact information is provided on every page of the website. Additionally, our toll-free telephone number is posted prominently next to every charge on every credit card bill. The Customer Care Center is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and representatives are always available to answer any questions that might arise.
