WTF Wholesale Suppliers Corporation has been scamming veterinarians for over a year now by ordering non-prescription flea and tick products from innocent veterinarians and refusing to pay them, often for orders in the range of $25K to $50K. Veterinarians all over the US have become victims of this Ponzi scheme and are out hundreds of thousands of dollars. Many have had to hire lawyers and have had miserable results trying to collect on their debt.
This appears to be an organized plan by Todd Stefaniak (head of WTF), Nancy Ben-Hamo, the VP and Kay Carpenter, the head of purchasing. In the past two weeks (as of this report 8/24/11) phone lines have been disconnected at the home office and they have reported the company was dissolved due to "financial hardship and a weak economy". They claim they have laid off all employees and are no longer doing business.
In truth, they continue to inhabit the building at 1620 S. Clyde Morris Avenue and all security cameras and key swipes are firmly in place. They have merely changed the name and structure of their company to True Lines Distributing Co. Todd Stefaniak is still the president, Nancy Ben-Hamo is still the VP and Kay Carpenter continues to suck in new victims at an alarming rate, promising pre-payment on orders. BEWARE! They will get you to trust them and then rip you off as soon as you are comfortable with them.
