I initially saw the ad on the internet for the opportunity to try the tea product free for only $6.95 shipping. However, when the product arrived there is paperwork included that says you will be billed $37.00 after 14 days!

After opening and reading this I contacted Wu-Yi Source on their internet chat session stating that isn't what I understood and that I would be returning the product. The Representative Ralph stated that he had removed my name from the auto ship program and that I wouldn't be charged as long as I was returning the product.

I went to the Post Office on Monday Feb. 11, 2008 to mail the tea back.

I looked at my credit card statement on Feb. 28, 2008. I found on Feb. 20th I was charged the $37 plus a $1.11 conversion fee. I have been back on their site with them yesterday and they agreed to credit back $31.45 (as they are charging a 15% restocking fee for something I didn't even want). Now I just found a charge on my account for $19.95 that they applied yesterday and again without my knowledge!!

I have been printing out all of these online chat sessions plus going back and forth with them on email. I have contacted my credit card company and hopefully they will be able to stop the second charge before it goes through.

WY-YI Source - Canada What They Haven't Refunded.

AUTHOR: Rrchris - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, March 03, 2008

After I updated my report I recieved an email regarding their rebuttal response. It all sounds so sweet. However, I should have been refunded the full amount of the $37 plus $1.11 conversion fee. I didn't authorize either of these amounts to be charged to my credit card. All that was refunded was $31.45. Not quite right for all of the time I have invested in this issue!!

Also, I paid the shipping fee for the so called FREE trial of the tea product. I sent it back unopened after I found all of the other paperwork in the box with it. I should be refunded not only the $6.95 plus the .36 conversion fee but the postage of $4.66 that I had to pay to return it.

I am so angry over this to think that these companies feel that it is just okay to do what they want with the sacred information shared on a credit card. Not to mention the 2 half days that I lost just trying to communicate with them. Today I have made the arrangements to have my card put into suspension so they can't put any more charges on it but that is another convenience because my funds will be tied up (this isn't a conventional card, it is a card that is loaded each month by my employer) until a new card can be issued.

That can't happen until they return the funds that they stole!! How many weeks is this all going to take? Who knows? Very Very inconvenient. I for one would have no problem with being included if there were a class action law suit. I have seen several other complaints on this company. I have saved and printed every conversation with these people. Thank you for your site and the opportunity to share a really lousy experience.

Don't Give Up!! Here Is The Toll Free Number For Wu-YI Living Lean

AUTHOR: Rrchris - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, March 03, 2008

If you go to easyweightlosstea.com you will find the home page of Wu-YI Source. Over to the right is a small box where you can click to have an online chat session. I did this and didn't give up on conversation back and forth until they agreed to credit the $37 back to my credit card however they took 15% for what they claim is a restocking fee. At that point I figured I would take the $31.45 which at least is better than nothing at all.

Then I found the $19.95 fee they had charged against my card on Feb. 29th. I went back to their site today and did the online chat session again. I did NOT give up with them until their Representative Ralph gave me a toll free number to call: 1-866-396-5711. This number connects you to the Living Lean line.

According to Ralph with WU-YI it is mandatory to sign for Living Lean to get the tea offers. We all know that is not even mentioned on their home page. I called the toll free and was very stern with the person who finally answered. He stated that he would credit my account and I told him that I wanted a confirmation number for my records. He did provide that so now it is just wait and see.

In the meantime I called my credit card company who has positioned my account so that nobody can put any additional charges on it but the credit can be applied. I sure hope that this helps someone. Bottom line...probably tea is not the way to go.
