When I opened her crate she smelt horrific as if she had been wallowing in crap. There was no mess in her crate so I knew it was not that. She was totally shaven down and did not even look like the same dog that was represented in the picture when I was considering purchasing her. She kept scratching her ears and when I inspected them she had horrible brown matter and very red and infected ears as well. On the ride home my daughter was holding her on her lap and noticed that there was a horrible discharge coming from the dogs personal area. I called the breeder and she told me that the dog had just finished a heat cycle and that was normal for her to have that sort of discharge. When I questioned about the condition of the dog meaning the odor and the ears she became enraged and hung up on me.
I then took the dog to my vet and on examination my vet was shocked that a health certificate had been issued by her vet in Indiana and suggested that he call her vet. When he called her vet he was told that he did not notice the ears being infected and that was not a reason for a dog not to fly anyways. Two weeks later this little girl died. As I was walking her outside she collapsed on the ground and was gone. I was besides myself and had an autopsy done because I needed to know what happened and why. On autopsy I was told that in fact this little girl was not 1 year old at all but more like 4-5 years old, had never had a litter and that her breeder had been administering hormone injections to her to prevent her from coming into her heat cycle which caused issues with her uterus and she died of an exploding uterus commonly known as Pyometra. I had her cremated and called the breeder immediately who in turn became very nasty and basically hung up the phone on me.
This breeder then went out of business and has resurfaced selling puppies on WWW.PUPPYFIND.COM and when I reached out to her and asked her to replace the little girl that I purchased in good faith she refused. The little girl that I purchased from her was bought with full rights and was suppoed to be used to have a litter which obviously never happened. She was only with me 2 weeks when she died and besides for the horror and the pain of watching that happen there was also an monetary investment made for her. I have several emails from Alice Gettelfinger where she has refused to do anything and at one point she said she had not seen papers on the autopsy results. I offered to send her anything she wanted and she then refused me once again on a replacement. Not sure I would even want a replacement but more so it is the way she has handled this.
Buyer please beware she is awful. No heart at all just a puppymill is what she is. If anyone has any further questions please by all means contact me directly I will show you the emails shared and the results from the autopsy as well. Do not trust her fake ad on puppyfind.com it is not who she is. She is representing herself as a high end breeder of show dogs which is not who she is at all...If anyone else has had a bad experience with her please reach out to me. I have contacted my attorney on this matter and will be filing a lawsuit against her..

this lady got Acc's Squirlle Squirt d/o/b 04/27/2004 she got her in 05 she just did turn 1 and was going out of her first heat. When i sold her to this lady. this girl was groomed and bathed before being shipped i own a grooming shop so all me dogs are groomed on a weekly bases. She went to the VET before being shipped. he checks for every thing. even teeth . Once this girl was shipped. She didn't e-mail or call me for months. Then she told me she HAD to have her put down. I asked for VET proof She never once sent me anything from her VET , LIke i asked , Yes i stopped breeding in 07 do to my mom passing away. But she got this girl in 05 . She is one big lier. She mes me by FACEBOOK once she knew i was breeding again telling me she was put down . again i asked for VET papers she didn't show me nonthing . I will not replace a dog/ pupy over 7 years ago of sale.
she would like for everyone to think this just happen . Well it didn't this has been 7 years ago.

We do not actively endorse any specific members that come to our services, nor do we participate in any agreements or contracts made between individuals who decide, on their own accord, to deal with each other.
Furthermore, PuppyFind.com does not participate in the exchange of any funds for the dogs advertised on our site, or the transportation of any dogs that are sold while advertised on our website. In short, PuppyFind.com is simply a meeting place for people to come together, and all who come to our site do so of their own volition.
Our Terms of Service (TOS) state that we do not pre-screen members. While a situation like this may be upsetting and grounds for further inspection if there appears to be more to the story than what
is initially seen, if a member has not been proven to have violated our TOS, we can't simply remove them because we feel like it or because a buyer or another breeder does not like the breeder in
question.
Ultimately, if anyone does plan on purchasing a dog from a breeder that advertises on our site or any other website, it is always important to do as much research as possible before signing anything or making
any sort of payment, be it a deposit or a full payment. Do not rely on just one source for a point of reference, and if there is any sort of doubt concerning a breeder or a dog, know that it's okay to walk away from the sale. If a member appears to be a scammer or is violating our TOS in any way, do not hesitate to report them to PuppyFind.com Customer Support.
