First of all, I did lots and lots of research to find the perfect puppy for me. The reason I am writing this is so that people do not purchase from this organization/breeder...I wish I had this information before I purchased my puppy.
First of all, I completely agree with the other report. Once my deposit of $1,200 was put down, Lisa Vitale was almost impossible to get in contact with. She would not return phone calls and emails, and when she did she rarely answered the questions that I asked. I put my deposit down a month before my puppy could come home, so through those 4 weeks I was incredibly stressed out and worried. Updated pictures were not sent until about 4 days before my puppy arrived and was after I begged her to send them numerous times. I was unable to find out any new information about my puppy, and the flight information did not come until 2 days before the puppy arrived.

During that month of waiting and frustration, I decided to do more in depth research about this organization and breeder. Unfortunately, the breeder who I once trusted and thought would be a wonderful experience proved first hand that I was wrong. Also, by reading many different things and talking to past customers of her, I was extremely dissapointed. This is what I found out about the mbcoa and Lisa Vitale:

-This is a family run company - every single breeder referral is someone that is related to Evan Quintavella, who is the created of mbcoa. Lisa Vitale is Evan Quintavella's sister in law! Somehow or another, everyone is related and they all work together. There is no probationary period to become a breeder through the mbcoa...it is only family and they do a good job hiding that. This family created an entire organization that is scamming people every day.

-Lisa Vitale does not raise the puppies herself. In fact, her sister that lives in ANOTHER STATE raises the puppies. Her sister is the one who is married to Evan Quintavella. Lisa is selling puppies that she has never seen before, and she does not allow you to be in contact with her sister. I do not understand how she can tell people information about puppies when she has never even met them!

-Pictures of the parents were never sent to me, although I asked in almost every email for them. She ignored all questions I had about the parents, which is very scary to me. I have no idea how many dogs are being bred through the mbcoa, but to myself and everyone that I am in contact with it seems like this is a PUPPY MILL that is well-disguised. If you look at all the "breeder referrals", each breeder has an ID for the puppies. The litters are mixed up all throughout the websites. For example, all of Lisa's puppies have ID's that start with an L for Lisa. Then, the litter ID is right after. So if Lisa is selling a puppy that has an ID of LMAG F1, that means the L is for Lisa, the MAG is for the litter, and F is for female. But if you look at, for example, the website www.gottilinesouth.com, you will see that the person selling the puppies is named Dawn. She has a puppy right now with the ID of DMAG F2, which means the D is for Dawn and the MAG is for the same litter Lisa is selling and it is the second female of the litter! Why are these litters mixed up?

-If you haven't noticed, each website has new puppies almost every day. If English Bulldogs are supposed to have small litters, how is it possible that there are so many litters??? They must either have many, many adults that they are breeding or they are overbreeding their dogs and doing an extremely cruel thing. Are all these puppies together with Lisa's sister in another state? SO MANY UNANSWERED, SHADY QUESTIONS!

-Here is the biggest shocker of them all - as I said earlier, I have been talking to past customers of Lisa Vitale and the mbcoa. Each person that I have spoken to has a bulldog that is NOT a miniature! Lisa Vitale and the mbcoa claim that their puppies will max out around 30 to 35 pounds.....every single person I have spoken to has dogs that are well over that weight! The smallest dog I have heard of coming out of this breeder is 43 pounds!!! My dog still has 3 months left to grow, and she is already 28 pounds! Sounds to me like a scam! How can you sell "Miniature English Bulldogs" when they are not even miniature!

-Each person I have spoken to that is a past customer has had major health issues as well. HUGE allergy problems is the main concern.

Bottom line, through everything I have experienced going through Lisa Vitale and www.mbcoa.org, I would NEVER purchase from them again, not would I recommend that another person does. Purchasing from a breeder and company like this only encourages them to keep doing what they are doing. Please consider the things I have said in this report. Luckily, I ended up with the most amazing puppy I could have ever imagined. She is the love of my life. After all the stress and frustration, I feel extremely lucky to have ended up with a good puppy. Although, I am not sure that everyone will have same luck that I did.
