I have a an issue with a clothing website based out of Oak Lawn Illinois (which they failed to tell me that in the beginning) called www.dressale.com. I heard about this site from a Canadian T.V show and they said it was a great way to save money on wedding/bridal party dresses so I took a chance. The company claimed to be located out of Sheung Wan, Hong Kong (that was false as I later found out through the Better Business Bureau). I placed the order 01/24/2012 and when I spoke with the 1st rep via live chat (Maria), she advised me that the dresses would arrive approximately on the 17th of February 2012. After that I was promised 3 times via email (Chan) and live chat (Jessica) that I was to have my order that I placed on January 24th 2012, delivered by no later than February 15th 2012. The company supervisor (Sarah) and another rep (Lanny) then proceeded to tell me via live chat they would have the dresses by the 20th or 21st of February. I stated that they made other commitments to have it in 1st, by the 17th then the 15th of February. They advised they could not do anything and that it will "maybe" be in by the 20th. They gave me no choice but to take the date or leave it. I became frustrated and requested a contact number but they stated they couldn't give me one because there phone was broken then, the next time I asked they said they can't give it to me because of the "language barrier" I requested to have a refund from the company for the misinformation and the lack of products being delivered but the reps declined. Their policy guarantees 100% customer satisfaction and they also guarantee their production time and delivery time. Unfortunately when confronted with an issue with their policies, they refuse to do the honorable thing. I have all the chats and emails saved if they are needed. I felt the company was not willing to pay restitution for the lack of consistency and lack of ownership to the problem at hand. Their
website guarantees 100% satisfaction as per the link I posted:


but they would not honor it. I also advised them that I have a bridesmaid that has to travel 600km to my home to prepare for my wedding and that the cost of fuel is not cheap. They did not care and stated they couldn't honor the original agreement.

I questioned their authenticity and the final rep I spoke with via live chat (Lanny) stated "even if we are the false company ,why not spare the more time so that you can get the accurate info?" That put up a red flag. I advised them I know that they are not based out of China and that I want a refund. they kept telling me to hold on as if it was an automated message.. over and over it said:

So, I advised them if they cannot honor their order and will not refund, I will take
legal action. They said to go ahead.

I know they just wanted to wait the 45 days until the credit card companies couldn't revoke the payments. It's a good thing I am way to clever to allow them to take advantage of me and my bridesmaids like that. It could have ended badly.

All I request is to have someone approach this company with the problem at hand and have the company honor their commitments they made or refund my money in full or someone should shut them down! No one deserves to be taken advantage of like that.
