This company marketed their services to me as an accounting / database / prospect tracking software, which is cloud-based.  Their services are completely deficient in even the most basic aspects of accounting, its really for prospect and lead tracking.  They repeatedly said that I could cancel at any time, but actually there is an annual contract.  And they hold you to a penalty if you go over 12 months and decide to cancel. I guess they are correct; customers CAN cancel at any time, but there is a penalty.  Sneaky.

I am an employee of Improveit360.  I have been working here for over 1 year.  I would like to respond to this complaint, not as a representative of the company but as myself.  I am a person who likes to shed light on the actual facts and let all who care to see the facts decide for themselves.  Whats right is right.  So, that being said, I would like to tell you who we are, or what I have seen with this company since I have been here.  We are basically a 30 person software company.  The people who work here are honest, smart, and a little goofey at times.  We all work hard and do the best we can at our jobs.  We really dont have any bad apples.  The type of people who work here are not liars, theives, or anything even close to that.  We really are the type of people who are just average, normal, good, hardworking people. Like any company we have made mistakes as we have grown.  We have always made our best efforts to correct those mistakes. If you have signed a contract with us -we expect you to honor your end of the contract. That is business.  We cannot exist as a charity organization, that is not our function and we would not be able to keep the lights on if we were.  In my time here, I have never seen or heard of anyone lying to people about being an accounting program.  We have a contract that is sent to the potential customer that they may read, at their leisure, before signing.  I'm sorry, but if you are able to read, and if you dont like what you see you may ask for clarification or not sign at all.  There is nothing sneaky in our contract.  We also have an interviewing process where we ask questions to ensure that there is a proper fit before even conducting a demonstration of our product, well before a potential client even signs up with us.  The demonstration is an hour long interactive consultation where we dive deeply into the capabilities of our program.  We will share a computer screen with you and walk you through the actual program from start to finish.  That is our process.  After signing up a new customer will recieve one on one training of the program.  I cant imagine how a customer could possible go through that entire process and still think that we are an accounting program.  This is a good company, we are direct and honest.  We will expect you to honor your end of a contract relationship, especially if we have gone through all of the time, effort, and man hours to set up your software, convert all of your data and import it into our system, hours of one on one training and individualized support.  If it turns out that we have made a mistake, then, yes, we have and will do our best to fix it.

I am an employee with Improveit360.  I can tell you that this company does not mislead, scam or rip off anyone.  We make every effort to resolve issues that have come up with our software.  I will admit that there were some growing pains with our business.  We thought that our program would be a much broader fit when we first made it available.  We learned that improveit360 is not a good fit for everyone.    Improveit360 is not an accounting software.  It is a software program designed to help remodeling companies organize thier business, manage lead flow, and grow  We make an effort to make sure the program is a good fit for companies prior to even cunducting the free demo.  The important thing to remember here is that there will always be those who are frustrated with any software, and many people who will misunderstand the program.  We do our best to assist the customer to operate the program in the way it was intended.

Lauren, we’re very sorry there was ever any misconception about the features of our CRM software. We do help home pros with certain financial management – quotes, invoices, some payroll (including commissions for our Enterprise customers), Quickbooks and other accounting software integrations. But our really strong benefits involve a closed-loop marketing system and database management tools to help you sell more prospects.

To ensure peace of mind for all of our customers our hosting provider requires an annual contract to maintain constant backups and provide 99%+ uptime. We have no desire to be sneaky which is why we require new clients with no history to sign contracts that have those details spelled out. We also believe it takes time to change your business processes for the better and after a year of commitment customers see the really big returns!

We’re sorry you had a bad experience with us. We’ve grown incredibly fast over the years and naturally had some growing pains that have since been ironed out. But our goal is to help companies grow their bottom line and we’re doing our best to make that happen. Let us know if you have any questions about your contract!
