www.peoplesmart.com Peaple Smart Cancelled membership but continued to bill. They said I only cancelled half of what I signed up for Internet

I searched for companies that provide background checks and found this one, PeopleSmart. I signed up with them to check a couple background checks. These people had criminal backgrounds but wanted to see exactly what was on them. The background checks came that all these people had clean backgrounds so I knew this site was a scam from the start.

I emailed on July1 2014 to cancel my $19.95 subscription. There was an email sent back to me that I would no longer be charged.

I haven't been checking my credit card the last few months because I barely use it, but checked in January 2015, and I am still being charged $19.95/month.

I called the operator and talked to their customer service. She said I signed up for 2 separate items on their website and only cancelled 1 of the items, which is why I was still being billed.

 This company is a scam. You will not find anything in anyone's background. It's a bunch of false information. You will cancel and still be billed because they somehow got you to sign up for different programs.

There are many other complaints on this misleading company as well. Stay away.
