WWW.RESERVATIONS.COM Deceived and Overcharged Dallas, Texas Nationwide

This is a third party reservations company. When attempting to reach the hotel website I inadvertently made a reservation through this third party company instead of the hotel website. This company adds a $14.99 charge to the hotel cost which is lumped in with taxes and fees and appears to be hotel tax. The charge is not listed separately so it is clear you are being charged by a third party for a service you get direct from the hotel absolutely free. You will not be informed of this separate charge unless you click on taxes and fees and read down through the text. You will most likely see it when the charge appears on your credit card as a separate $14.99 charge from WWW.RESERVATIONS.COM.

This charge needs to be called out separately yet it is lumped in with taxes and fees!!  I never would have made this reservation if I had known this company would charge me $14.99 for something I can do direct with the hotel at no additional cost. This company obviously pays google well to list at the top of any search, they include hotel logos on the web page and it is not clear to the consumer that you are booking through a third party and paying a fee for something that is completely free if done directly with the hotel or hotel company. Beware Reservations.oom. Complete and total rip-off!!!
