I called last June to terminate my pager services in July 2001 as my one year contract was up (July 2001) and paid my last monthly bill in July 2001 for 63.70 dollars. That was the end of it.

They have been sending me bill statement every month ever since my termination saying I owe them 61 dollars and something.


They said that I am required to pay that fee after my termination of contract. For what? I have not use any of their services since June 30, 2001.

It did not state on the bill what the charges were for on the bill as they told me on the phone about their "requirement" so I feel I'll be ripped off if I agreed to pay 61 dollars. I have been harrassed by their mailing monthly billing statements to me since August 2001.

They did not make any attempt of contacting any collections agency to collect my fee. I suspect it's something illegal because they could not get collections agency involved to collect my money.

Yet, they still mail me bills! Basta! Enough of that Wynd Communications... They failed to provide quality services in the first place when I signed up with them in 1998 with old model pager... they ripped me off into buying old model without informing me of their upcoming new product (which was 2 wks later) and I called to request refund or exchange to new model they refused.

I ended up stuck with old model and bought new pager which is much smaller and lighter and signed another contract in 2000... they did not provide good coverage in many many areas where I tried to get hold of my loved ones during times of need/emergency.

They said its services has been improved with newer model so I got so fed up and terminated in July 2001. I bought new pager through Weblink Wireless Services and it's excellent and I never had a single problem since I bought it in July 2001!!
