Wynn Palms Apartments doesn't even deserve to be called a business. On October 3rd 2008 we began renting a apartment at Wynn Palms Apartments a property which is controlled by Pinnacle Management Company. Upon moving in the rental office said we had air conditioning and water. This was true some days...

Living in the desert is bad enough but sticking through it without water is even worse. Throughout our entire lease we had several times  where Wynn Palms Apartment would decided to do changes or repairs to the water. Each time we would wake up prepared to start our day only to find out we can't take our morning shower, brush our teeth or even go to the bathroom. Not once did they ever even give us a notice they were shutting it off. We had the water shut off some months up to 5-6 times. Then it could be out anywhere from 2-10 hours on those days. There apartment affected my job, no job I have ever found wants employees to come to work with hair messed up, teeth not brushed or odor from not showering.

As if the water wasn't bad enough, as the summer came back around we noticed our air conditioning also was out of service. Throughout the winter we never used it, but May, June and July the heat became a problem. We had placed several complaints through the front office.  Which they did send several repair men to the scene, but not once was the problem ever fixed. Our apartment reached heats of over 100 degrees. Also when our air conditioner was broke it wouldn't automatically shut off because it was always hot. So we would leave for the day only to return home and find out our unit ran continuously wasting much electricity.

We made several attempts to try to work out these problems but nothing was accomplished. The final time was on July 23rd around 7pm our air went out again, then the next morning (Friday) we woke up to find out our water was also out. Around 8pm that night out water finally came back on. However the heat was still out, we called the 24 hour maintenance and asked if the guy could bring us a portable unit, his answer was "No". We finally moved out on the 29th at that point the air was still out.

If you're looking for Nevada housing or Las Vegas Apartments and considering moving to Wynn Palms Apartments or any other property managed by Pinnacle Management Company, also consider what it's like living in the desert with no water and air. Then going to your job without being able to shower or brush your teeth. It's not a onetime thing, but a frequent reoccurring problem at Las Vegas Nevada housing, Wynn Palms Apartments.

New Management At The Wynn Palms

AUTHOR: Dave B - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, December 09, 2010

Hello, I work for the company that took over when the owner of the Wynn Palms was taken into receivership. B and R Property Management took over in September of 2010 and we are working extreamly hard to bring the property up to par.

Just so that people know on two of the three sections of the complex there are no building shut offs so in order to make any kind of water repairs to those sections we have two choices, make the repair under water pressure or shut the section down and wait for the Water District to come back and turn the water back on. If we make the repair under pressure there is a very big chance that the apartment will get flooded. And if the apartment is on the second floor the unit below will get flooded also.

We only do this if we have no choice. As far as the Heat and Cooling issues in the complex the former Maint Staff at the Wynn Palms did not take care of the units nor did they wire the units correctly. They wired the units and put parts in that did not work properly. Myself and two other guys work very hard to ensure that the residents have heat and cooling. If we are unable to do this we call in a specialist who can get the units up and running. Normally we have the units up and running within twenty four hours.

We are currently working extremely hard to deal with all kinds of issues, electrical, plumbing, etc. The complex took a few years to go down to the point it is and it will not come back to the splendor that it was in just a few days or months.

One final note anytime we shut down the water to two of the three sections we give residents twenty four hours notice and we work very hard to have the water back on as soon as possible. We will even work through lunch to get the repairs done quickly so that the residents have water as quickly as possible. But when we do call the water district it could take anywhere from five minutes to two hours for the water district to get there and get the water back on.
