I recently purchase the Hammer X driver from X-Factor Sports.  I had upgraded to the X-Shaft as well for an additional $40.  After the product price of $99 plus the upgrade and shipping, I ended up spending $184.85 on this club!  They were sending me the new Hybrid for FREE, but I had to pay another $19.95 for shipping because I was told they could not put the clubs in the same box.

Once I received my clubs, I noticed that the driver did NOT have the X-Shaft on it that I paid extra for.  I called the customer service department and they sent the new club out with a return label to send the wrong club back.  I did so, but could not get to the golf course to try out the new clubs until 2 weeks later.  When I finally tried the clubs, I hated them.  They did nothing like they claimed could be done with them.

I once again called customer service to tell them that I wanted to return both of the clubs.  I was told that they had not received the first club back and could not generate the return until after they got the first one.  I then called FedEx where I shipped the box from and found out that they had already delivered the club to the company.  I called back again to inquire about sending the other two clubs back only to be told that I had to send them back and pay for the shipping and insurance myself and that it could only be done through FedEx...if done through USPS, they would be returned to me.  I told them that I wanted the original shipping refunded to me ($40) since I was having to pay for this shipping.  They refused and was hung up on by the customer service person.  I called back only to get a cranky drunk sounding man who had me on speaker phone.  I told him about the poor customer service I had received and then he proceeded to tell me to get my head out of my a** and then he hung up on me.

At this point, I called my bank and filed a claim against the company.  They reversed the charges and are investigating.  I am sending the clubs back, at my expense, and will wait to hear the outcome.  After reading other complaints against this company, I can only hope that my story will end the way that theirs have...by keeping the money that was refunded to my account while X-Factor fights to have it reversed back to theirs.

I don't know what type of person Jack Hamm is, but I'm sure that he would not want his name associated with the type of customer service that these people are showing...their ignorance is appauling!
