X2gen Will not send rebate check Chicago Illinois

I FINALLY got to speak with someone from X2gen. He says they are handling the rebates that go to the address in Wood Dale, Il inhouse -- not handled by onrebate.com

Says my rebate was denied because I did not send in the UPC from the box. States there are 2 items on the box with a bar code -- one has the model number under it and the other is the UPC. Says I sent in the one with the model number. I saw nothing else on the box with a bar code. If it was there, it was under the shipper's label.

This company is a complete and total RIP OFF.

I found an email address in this forum for Nadina who is handling complaints for Onrebate.com. After much searching, Nadina tells me that Onrebate.com does not power this rebate promotion. The rebate was sent directly to X2gen. So the manufacturer is at fault here. Rebate submissions sent to this address are not handled by Onrebate.com:

Here's another little bit of information I find interesting.

X2gen support says the rebate submission for this LCD was/is handled by Onrebate.com. However, this is the address from the rebate form:

Now, this made me think the rebate was being submitted directly to the manufacturer -- X2gen -- in Illinois.

Since Onrebate is located in Florida, how could they be "handling" rebate submissions mailed to X2gen in Illinois?
