X2Gen Computer World Solutions ripoff Finally got my rebate through BBB Woodale Illinois

I too was almost ripped off of a $95 X2Gen monitor rebate. I purchased mine from ecost.com last March. After the same frustrating unreturned calls and emails, I called ecost.com, who also said they had no responsibility, as it was between me and the manufacturer.

Then I filed an online complaint with BBB against ecost.com saying they've advertised false prices if rebates are not honored, and I had a check from ecost in my mailbox in 7 days. I don't know what would have happened if I filed the BBB complaint against X2Gen, but I do know that the vendor (ecost) can without their payments to the manufacturers in a large case of negligence that this board seems to indicate - I would encourage everyone to go back to their vendors, and then to the BBB if they are still denied. If enough people do it, X2Gen will end up paying all the money they owe people through denied vendor payments.
