I went online to purchase the acai berry product by xmbrands after seeing that you only had to pay 4.95 for shipping and handling for a trial period and could terminate within a certain amont of days if you didn't think the product worked and would not be charged anything. I called about a week later to cancel because I had't received the product and was skeptical about it working, the rep who answered said that they would credit my account the 4.95 and that my memebership would be cancelled and that they would not send out the trial since I cancelled. Now I didn't ask for them to refund the 4.95 I didn't want to pay 89.97 on a product I hadn't even received and I beleived that by the time they would have sent it, it would have been to late to cancel.

After never receiving the product and recieving my 4.95 back I thought I was done with xmbrands until a month later they took $89.97 from my account. I called to find out why since I had cancelled in theallowe time, the representative who answered put me on hold for 30 minutes then a lady came to the phone who was bar far the rudest person I had ever talked to in my life and she was a supervisor! I had a check that was returned due to them taking that money from my account.I asked Brandi who stated that she was a supervisor if they would reimburse me for the fee that I was charged from my bank had shown them a copy of my bank statement and she said no they couldn't do anything about that;although it was their error that the money was taken from my account.

I then asked for a manager because the supervisor was extremly robust. By this time I had been on the phone an hour and was on hold for about 50 minutes out of that hour it was ridiculous, I think they were hoping I had just hung up. The manager Robert came on finally and was worse than Brandi and neither one of them bothered to apologize for their mistake. I mean the way they talked to me you would have never thought that was a place of business. The manager confirmed that they would credit my account back for the 89.97 and that they weren't going to reimburse me for my bank fees. I asked him did I need a confirmation # he said no.

A week had passed and I called to find out that they had not put in a request for a refund, so I had to wait again and finally after a week of calling and being placed on hold for long periods of time they finally refunded me the 89.97. This place is definately a ripoff!!! Due not waste your time, money, or energy. From what I was told by other people who got ripped off by them also, but they actually received the product ,and advised me that it doesn't even work! I only wished that I had been warned XM brands is a NIGHTMARE!!!
