Yates Flooring Ripp Off, High Prices, Dishonest Sales Tactics, Extremely Rude People Lubbock, Texas

Whatever you do do not shop at Yates Flooring Center in Lubbock, TX.  The people there are extremely rude and will treat you badly.  Their prices are the highest in town and they are dishonest in their pricing practices.  They will quote you one price and then say they made a mistake and try to add $100's to $1000's extra.  I have shopped there in the past and have had a horrible experience when they sent the wrong tile to my contractor who installed it while I was out of town.  The salesperson was rude and dishonest about the mix up and I ended up living with it.  More recently I tried to give them a second chance and they gave me what I felt like was a good bid only to call me back and say they had made a $1000 mistake and the price had to go up by that amount.  I asked to speak with management about it and they said that there was nothing else that they could do and that I was purchasing the carpet at cost, well that was a lie as well because Carpet One did match the original price that they gave me and delivered exceptional customer service.  These people have such low integrity that someone even posted a topic on facebook about people receiving bad customer service in the Lubbock area and someone put Yates Flooring well the Yates family apparently knew this person because they filed a BBB complaint on them and they retaliated by calling the guys wife and threatening her because she handled their phone service.  They went so far as to call her employer and notify them of this in retaliation for a bad review on their store, but not once did they try to remedy the situation like an honorable reputable business would.  In my experience I have always looked at criticism as an opportunity for improvement, but not Yates Flooring they look for vengence.  You have been warned, whatever you do Never Shop At Yates Flooring!
