Yelp Yelp is a Fraud and Only Post Bad or Fake Reviews Internet
Yelp is a place that one can write reviews for businesses local to the area.
However, only bad or false reviews are printed. When a good or real review is printed it does not appear on the site and is 'filtered.' Not only does this hurt the business, but the business are scored and this lowers the business score.
The primary purpose of Yelp is to print bad reviews and then extort businesses into paying to have the bad or unreal reviews removed.
When asked, Yelp states that a 'system' decides what reviews are printed based on key words. However, there is no explanation on what these key words are, nor there is no explanation why poor reviews and out and out lies are printed but removed if the business pays to have them removed.
For example, one business that I frequent was closed due to a fire. The business was not open. Yelp permitted somebody to write a negative review about the business and the service they received when the business was not open. [continued below]....
Yelp will be reported to several agencies, and the world will get out regarding how it is run and it's unethical business practices.
