YourGiftCards ripoff I was not given a $50 Redlobster Gift Card for signing up with Columbia House and ordering movies. Internet

On approximately April 9, 2004, I clicked on an advertisement through MyGiftCards.com to receive a $50 Red Lobster Gift Card for signing up with Columbia House. I had fulfilled my requirements as of July 29, 2004.

I have contacted their office on several occasions and was told that they had sent me the "link" that would let me know exactly what I would have to do in order to receive the gift card.

I never received any emails and contacted them again and was finally given the link via telephone. I printed everything as instructed and mailed it to the P.O. Box 390520, Mountain View, CA 94039 address on September 20, 2004.

It indicates on their "help" screen that it should only take 6-8 weeks to receive the gift card. I have been waiting since July 31st, back when I had emailed James in their Customer Service Department, who then gave me a fax number that I could send proof of fulfilling the requirements by Columbia House.

I did in fact fax this proof on July 31, 2004 and never received a response. I then emailed James again on August 24, 2004 to get a status, and never received a response. It is now October 30, 2004 and I have yet to receive this gift card.

If I would have known that it was going to take this long to receive it, I would have never clicked on their advertisement. I think that it is deplorable to do business in this manner, especially if you want to have repeat customers.
