My first experience with yourmusic.com worked just fine. Shipments arrived within 7-10 days, and the price was good. I canceled after a few months when my husband lost his job and we didn't have money for extras, and that was no problem either. In Dec. 2006 I decided to sign up again. I was supposed to get a free CD for doing so, but they switched me to a special "re-signup" screen, and when the process was complete I didn't get the free CD. I sent an email and eventually got a reply fixing the problem. Here's the kicker: it's now Feb. 2007. I have STILL not received my Dec. 06 order OR my free CD. I DID get my Jan. 2007 CD. Weird, right? I have sent several emails, but now all emails I send are being ignored. I only get the initial computer generated "we received your email" reply.

Deciding to try things by phone (which they DO NOT offer on their website) I did a search for their phone number online. The first number listed for them I found was 212-901-0700, which ended up being Columbia House, who told me the number for Yourmusic.com was 317-692-9200. This was actually for BMG (who I understand owns Yourmusic). After holding the first time, someone picked up the phone and then hung up immediately. I called back. The lady I got this time, who was obviously from overseas, said she did not handle Yourmusic accounts and did not have a phone number for them. I asked to speak to a manager. She put me on hold. After a little bit she said her manager was busy but she would take my name and number and have him call me back. I requested to hold, at which time she said she could not allow that and hung up on me.

I have also tried 317-542-6221 and 317-542-6000, other numbers I found online. These just put me back in the same BMG queue. I finally got a hold of a lady named Cynthia (good english, anyway) who said she'd put me on hold for a supervisor. Yet again I was told the line was busy, and she would not let me hold. The number she gave me for the administrative office (after I ranted and threatened) was 212-930-4000. Even though I called during business hours I got the "after hours" message.

At this point I will probably just call my credit card company and reverse the charges for the CD I have not received, cancel my service (hope THAT works at least), and cut my losses. I have never come across a company that was so impossible to reach! And since they are owned by Columbia House/BMG I will never use those CD services again, either. What a big scam!
