I have a Premier account with PAYPAL for Years...I ordered DVD on May 11th and paid right away. 2 Days ago I checked and it says E-CHECK sent and Clearing May 15th.

1. I called and found out My current Credit card on file had expired..NO ONE told me or I would have updated it & payment would have been immediate.

2. E-Check cleared my back account on MAY 13th.

3. PAYPAL still shows pending echeck payment on MAY 16th.
I called to inquire and was told it was a CLEARING HOUSE problem, but they would clear the amount by 5 pm PDT.
PAYPAL HOLDS FUNDS FOR DAYS TO EARN INTEREST ON PEOPLE'S MONEY. I THOUGHT THIS WAS NOW ILLIGEAL , IN THIS DAY AND AGE OF HIGH TECH BUSINESS, THEY CAN CLEAR A CHECK WITHIN MINUTES.....RETAIL STORES DO IT ALL THE TIME. PAYPAL TAKES ADVANTAGE ...

ALSO I had to file a dispute for lack of merchandise received from a SCAMMER on EBAY..APRIL 18th ...I am still waiting for my REFUND thru PAYPAL. According to Customer Service, that's suppose to clear today too..WE'll SEE ..
I think NO MORE PAYPAL for me...

Hi Yvonne,
I'm a PP employee & I can tell you that I, too, had a eCheck that went through my bank account but is still showing as processing on my PP account. When something like this is discovered, PP sends an email to all employees describing the problem & offering solution, time frame, etc. Most often the response is that we are aware of the issue & our technical people are actively working to fix. Please ask the customer to be patient as we work as quickly as possible to fix. (I can tell you we have technical personnel working 24/7 including all holidays.) I'm sorry you are a victim of this glitch but can assure you that you are not being singled out & what you were told was the truth.
Glitches in out system do happen. PP processes millions of transactions totaling billions of dollars each day as well as thousands of scam complaints. A real person will review your claim & make a decision to issue your credit based on whether or not you have BPP Buyer's Protection Policy. Either way, I hope this helps you!!!! Take care! MAO
